MY Friend has applied for trs tax deducted at source on a mortgage ,online.
    MORTGAGE start date is 2006.
    She applied 4 months ago,
so far no sign of getting the trs deducted from the mortgage.
DO they send you a letter when you get trs on your loan.monthly deductions,
do you have to ask the bank for a form?

SHE Apllied online, for a trs refund 8 months ago ,for 4 years,
they told her she put in the wrong mortgage no ,on the first application.
so she applied again 6 months agoonline.

SHOULD she just fill in another online form to get trs monthly deduction,
as it should not take 4 months to get trs on your mortgage,

    SHE HAS 2 MORTGAGES,
a standard loan, and also an investment mortgage,
she has only applied for trs on the standard loan,
    ie where she lives .

IT Was never rented out ,but it seems that loan is registered as an investment mortage by the bank,
so she will probably never get any trs refund on it.
SHE Bought it and moved into it after a month.
its her principal private residence ,ie she lives there,by herself
its on all her tax forms, p60 etc
1 bed apartment , no tenants.
even if she changed it to a standard mortgage,
the deadline for new mortgage trs apllications has past.
