    The Twisted Pepper
    Saturday January 11th
    Doors 22.30pm
    ADM 10e/12e

DJ BONE, creator of the iconic Subject Detroit label, makes a long awaited return to Dublin in January. His 3 deck sets have become the stuff of legend, not just because of his inimitable quick mixing style but because of the high quality records he has accumulated over the past quarter of a century! Expect lush soul & funk fuelled machine grooves courtesy of ones of Detroits true heroes. Support comes from Basic Grooves Shane Linehan & Culture Shock residents!

The box room brings together a collection of some of Dublins finest house music purveyors, whilst the cafe will be treated to a very special evening of eclectic aural delights compliments of RTE's Audios Sunshine radio show top boy - Tom Lowe. Expect Hip Hop, Garage, Grime, Latin Jazz & all things party from the get go!

Until then, here is a quick word from the man himself, DJ Bone -

"If the gig is set-up with the music as the main focus (as it should be), then I have total control over the vibe. That's my duty. I'm not worried about having a Hollywood production going on or special effects with video images, smoke, etc. Just playing the best possible music as well as I can. I feel the need to constantly progress skill-wise and I feel my 3 deck sets are truly unique. Many DJs have 3 decks in front of them but how often do they actually have 3 records playing all at once (with the levels up)?"
