Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Horizon and iphone

    Is there anybody else having trouble using an iPhone and UPC horizon ?

    I regularly get really poor speeds like less than 1mb even when 3 feet away from the box

    As I have posted countless times on this thread change the wifi channel from ch1 to ch11 or ch7 and it will fix the wifi issues.

    I have recently got UPC Horizon myself and am trying to change the wifi channel.

    The problem is in the wi-fi settings screen there is no option to change the channel on the list of options there.

    What am I missing ?

    goto http://192.168.192.1

    use and password both admin

    Its in there

    You can also change WI-FI Channel

    Horizon Menu
    Settings
    Home Network Settings
    WI-FI Settings
    WI-FI Channel
    Channel list
    Best choose Channel 1 or 6 or 11
    Channel 11 best in most cases

    I was having similar intermittent problems with Iphones and Horizon box.
    I had more serious issues with a Nokia Lumia 620 which would not connect on wifi no matter what the settings ..

    I eventually went for deconsolidation of the Modem from Horizon box ..
    New modem delivered on Saturday and no apparent problems since. Nokia Lumia connected first time ..
