Any walking groups or couch to 5K in Tralee

Hi All,

My cousin has just moved to Tralee & is intent on shedding some weight in the new year. She's mainly looking for fast walking groups for beginners or maybe "couch to 5k" for new people. Anyone got any info on walking groups. She's not really interested in gym work, prefers outdoors.

She could also try below. Message Marcus or one of the guys. They are always doing from couch to programs for FREE.
Great group did my first 10k with them this year!

Just starting a new Group

Tralee International Marathon


We have had a great response to our Novice Valentines & Half Marathon training program , in order not to respond to each email individually here are the details of the program:

Start Date: 2/1/14
Training Days: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturday's (6pm), Sunday's (8.30am) - Aqua Dome.
Duration: 3 months
Cost: Free
Experience: jog/ walk 3K

This program is an initiative of the Tralee International Marathon, Born To Run (Tralee Marathon Club) and Run the Kingdom.
