Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hello. I am looking to buy an iphone 4s from someone, everything is fine but they are saying that when they put there sim in the phone it says 'no services' at the top so they cant make texts or calls. If i buy the phone will fixing this be a problem or can it be fixed easily at a store when i get a new sim? Help would be greatly appreciated thanks. btw the network is 3

Is it possible they are in a place with no signal or else it could be reported stolen so will never work in Ireland.

no its constant wherever they are, and i'd be extremely surprised if its been reported stolen. Do you think if i get it unlocked to a different network and get a new sim it would work?

Why are you extremely surprised if its been reported stolen? Sound like phone is been block by provider because owner was not paying bills when in contract or or insurance company in most cases reported stolen and claiming from insurance company.

As said above if it's barred it will never work with an Irish SIM.

It sounds to me like it's been blacklisted (i.e. reported stolen or lost). To be safe I'd suggest getting a sim card from each network and trying it before you buy. But be very wary.
