Pass the old filling station nearly every day, it's an eyesore, I have posted here before about how run down Parnell st. looks. It seems that someone or a group have taken over the spilling station, it is now being painted in bright colours and they even have a multicoloured LR Defender and Fiat Cinquecento, it actually looks really cool. Like some sort of art installation or something. Is this being done as part of the city of culture or something like that?

Anything that adds some colour to rundown and/or derelict sites should be welcomed. Think it is a fantastic idea and hope we see more eye catching art around Limerick.

The murals by John's Castle and on Thomas street are other great examples of bland locations brought to life.
