    This GW will most likely come down to captain choice, went with Aguero myself (have a funny feeling Remy will do well but I wasn't brave enough to give him the armband).

    All eyes will be on the City-Arsenal game as most players will have 4 or 5 players playing.

    I'll likely miss that game.

    Considering I haven't gotten out of bed before 2pm any day in the past week.

    Not sure if I feel proud or bad about that... :p

    My keeper is from Arsenal. Two of my defenders are from City/Arsenal. Two Midfielders from City/Arsenal. One striker from City.

    To say I'm dreading the match is an understatment :D

    Aguero has served me well all season so hopefully giving him the armband is the right choice.

    Going to give hazard the honour of leading my team this week

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

    My team for the week:

    Mig
    Ben Turner, Coleman, Terry
    Ramsey, Ozil, Hazard, Morrisson
    Kun Aguero (c), Suarez, Lukaku

    I've rethought my captain choice about ten times but think I'll just stick with Kun now.

    Rumor has it Joe hart back today(back page of the mirror) means I've no keeper if true.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,675 ✭✭✭HighClass

    Szczesny
    Mert, Zab, Distin
    Ramsey, Shelvey, Yaya, Hazard(c)
    Suarez, Lukaku, Aguero

    Not feeling good about the team this week at all. Too many players playing against each other for my liking!

    Team picked in midweek and I'm just going to leave it as it is. Lukaku captain. Hoping for a 1-0 Arsenal win with Theo coming on to score.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,668 ✭✭✭Corkbah

    hoping for Hull/Cardiff cleanies (filled my defence with them)… think my MF and Strikers will bring in some points.

    Captains Armband going to Llanana (southampton) …. either him or Lampard …. I think chelsea will beat palace by 3/4 but equally I think Llanana is due some kind points return - granted playing decent opposition has cut his points tally but he's playing well and contributing to all around play (possible bonus points)

    3-5-2 for me …benching giroud and having Suarez/Aguero up front … I thinkArsenal/Man City game will be tight 1-1 or 2-2 is an ideal score for me.

    Would captain Hazard over Lukaku I think if I knew he'd play the 90. Wish he didn't play midweek.

    Ravel is a doubt according to the BBC.

    Yeah... But we don't know if serious... Might play Shelvey instead then...

    I have my ideal attack line & Lukaku captain. Today is one of those days where the obscure players rack up the points, I can feel it in my bones!

  • Registered Users Posts: 311 ✭✭GillespieRoad

    Aguero captain. Lukaku would usually be the captain in this situation but I just cant discount Aguero at home, almost a guaranteed goal, although I feel thats all he'll get :/

    Jonny Howson obscure? :D

    Ramsey sits on my bench with 10 minutes to go.....

    Obscure to me anyways!

    I've 8 Home players too, I'm in for a land, I know it! :D

    Got holidays yesterday, spent last night drinking, woke up at 9 and started straight on the booze again - spent the time since then wondering who to captain - cant decide so leave it on Suarez.

    This is definitely a gameweek for differentials. Can see people posting quite drastic scores at the end of the day - some really low and others really high (last couple of gameweeks it looks like everyone was getting similar enough scores)

    I took 8 point hit and have been regretting it since.

    16 point hit, I'd be in straight jacket

    Comrades,

    While I haven't sold Ramsey just yet, he sits firmly on my bench with Jonny Howson and Ravel getting the nod ahead of him. This daring act will either anger the beast or finish him for good, it is a necessary act as Winter has well and truly come.

    I'm already looking forward a fine scotch with good company tomorrow night. We're almost there, let us rejoice.

    Man City: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Kompany (c), Demichelis, Clichy, Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, Nasri, Silva, Aguero, Negredo

    Team Silva and Aguero

    Silva in was a good move it seems.

    -12 here, and if I remember correctly it was your talks that made me to think about it. I looked at every hit separately, like you said. Team is sorted for now, so will have a chance save the wildcard for a while.
    Now hoping Silva and Rooney(c) will deliver.
    Trying out new things is a good thing, and judging by others decisions this week, there was a lot of hits.

    Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Wilshere, Ramsey, Ozil, Walcott, Giroud

    Hesitant to say this in case it places a jinx but that looks a strong Arsenal team

    my FFS cup game is like this once same players have been removed

    His Myhill, Chester, Hazard, Ramsey, Lukaku (c)

    v

    My Mig, Terry, Lampard, Fer, Rooney (c)

    No hits for either of us. Think he has to be favourite with home fixture for Lukaku and doubts over Lampard starting

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 15,237 Mod ✭✭✭✭FutureGuy

    My hits earlier in the week were:

    Remy > Lukaku
    Dawson > Jagielka
    Gerrard > Hazard

    Then this morning after a lot of thought and seeing my rivals also took hits.

    Brady > Fer
    Koscielny > B. Turner

    Is it crazy? Yep. Is it pushing bit a bit even for me? Yep.

    So I spent 16 points. I'm not even looking to break even. If I can get all those transfers for - 8 I'd be thrilled.

    I don't have Lukaku, have any Chelsea players and have benched Ramsey. Sometimes clarity only comes after the deadline.

    This calls for the safety dance:

    :eek::eek::eek:

    I took hits to get a Chelsea player and Lukaku, and I wouldn't put Ramsey on the bench with his current form regardless of the team he plays.

    Mr Prodson sir, you are either a genius or a lunatic

    High scoring game please. I have no defenders from either team.

    I see we have similar notions. I took a 12pt hit earlier on in the week:
    Remy --> Lukaku
    Lovren --> Distin
    Gerrard --> Hazard
    Oscar --> Nasri

    If Ramsey scores anything, you're chasing the 1.9 million players who have him. Leaving him on the bench just seems like madness.
