PS4 Megathread 2.0

My 2.02 download took 15 seconds to download last night. I dont understand how people back home can have so many issues. At this point I find it hard to believe its the PS4 that's the issue.

I've tested my PS4's speed as soon as someone on here posts issues and only once have I had to pull the Ethernet cable out etc to fix the issue.

Im led to believe that some of the IP's back home are just terrible.

Well our wallets have been spared a bit in February. Bloodborne has been delayed to 25th March.

The PS4 has woeful wifi performance, but the problem is PSN not the PS4. It's a completely inadequate service.

Makes sense. They couldn't really delay the Order again and there was no real chance of two big exclusives coming out the same month.

I have a PS4 since launch day. I haven't had one issue with it, always worked perfect. Controllers never wore down. I am always surprised with the amount of horror stories here.

Touch wood my console will remain as good as it has been so far.

Well its not one big server that sony uses for psn where the entire world connects to it, and if one person is having issues, everyone has to have issues.

Im using the same eircom fibre connection for the last year, and its only been the last few months that i (and others) have started having issues with psn, and its usually at peak times in the evening. On the same connecting at the same time i can open up steam and download something fast as lightening, where psn struggles to keep dial up speeds sometimes.

Eircom have been experiencing issues for the last couple of weeks.

So have sony with PSN. Last week trying to access the store with PS3, would either freeze the PS3 completely or glitch back to xmb(others here had the same issue). Idk whos at fault here, but i know when psn is acting up, my speedtests and download via pc are never effected.

Strangely enough I get better speeds using Wi-Fi with the PS4 than with it being wired, I have only once had a speed issue.

Until now that is. €13.99 for The Golf Club is too good to pass up.

Even if we only ever played online once for a few hours it'd be worth the price tag.

anddddddddddddddddddddddddd it still takes minutes to load somebodys message with download speeds of 30mbps and upload speeds of 6mbps on ps4 internet connection test.

It's like an Assassins Creed 4 demo. I picked it up when it was on sale a few weeks ago. It's more of the same. If you likes AC4 or you want to get a taste of it without buying the full game, go for it.
