I wish you could use screen shots as your background.

Absolutely Destiny boasts peerless shooting mechanics, but they're wasted in a game as aggressively insipid as Destiny. I was genuinely taken aback by the sheer blandness of the level and mission design. It's addictive in the worst possible way, simply offering the drive for slightly better loot.

I've said it before, but its biggest crime is that it places such little value in the player's time and effort. Games should be constantly offering varied, imaginative riffs on its central mechanics - hiding the only well designed mission behind two dozen hours worth of repetition and grinding is borderline insulting.

It is undoubtedly preferable with friends, but I think that's true of any heavily co-op game no matter the quality (look at how much better a bad game is when you're 'enjoying' it with friends). That doesn't make up for Destiny's many, many failures IMO.

No local co-op killed any chance of us buying a ps4 for it when we downloaded the demo on the 360, I don't know how the creators of halo though no local co-op was a good idea.

Next thing you know the next borderlands won't have local co-op, those kinda console shooters co-op is the only thing that makes them fun, if we cannot play with friends together you remove most of the interest

Can't agree with you more there, the shooting mechanics are top notch. My problem is that the variety of content just isn't there and it wasn't enough to keep me interested.

Agreed, the lack of content is criminal for game that has been in development for so long. The latest DLC is quite frankly a joke in terms of the content you get for the price (and this is from a PS4 user, the content is even less for Xbox users and at the same price).

While I am enjoying it, I think people have lost a lot of faith in Bungie after this, although I know many blame Activision for it.

Anyway, to bring it back on topic, I'd recommend you try before you buy if possible with Destiny.

It was one game where the beta really showed what the game really was like with lack of content. I bought it in hope of more but no. Biggest let down for and all that hype for nothing. Bungie should just stick to Halo if they didn't go and sell it to MS. Right now they have nothing.

I can't see Destiny 2 getting as good sales as most gamers have been bitten badly by this.

    b46jgbbcuaa_3ozz8jvv.png
60 fps and 1080p resolution — It looks and feels super smooth to play.
Uprezzed Graphics — Including textures, characters, and cinematics.
Big Bundle of Content — The game includes DmC: Devil May Cry, plus all released DLC: Vergil’s Downfall campaign, 3 Dante skins, 3 Dante weapon skins, and the item finder.
New Skins — 2 new character skins. Devil May Cry 1 Dante and Classic Vergil.
Turbo Mode — Turbo Mode returns to the Devil May Cry series, with the game running 20% faster in this mode.
Hardcore Mode — Hardcore mode retains the experience of DmC, but with a throwback to the classic Devil May Cry games in terms of balance. In this mode, which can be toggled on all difficulty levels, the style system has been rebalanced to make ranking up much harder and ranks deteriorate much quicker. In addition, Devil Trigger doesn’t launch enemies into the air, parrying takes more skill, and all enemies hand out more damage.
Manual Target Lock — We’ve seen more requests for this than any other feature! The manual target lock works as closely to the classic Devil May Cry lock on as possible and has fully configurable controls.
Vergil Bloody Palace — Only second to Manual Target Lock in terms of the number of fan requests! This is a new Bloody Palace mode featuring 60 levels and Vergil as the playable character.
Must Style Mode — This is a hardcore modifier on an epic scale that can be played over any difficulty level. Players must be at an S rank or higher to deal any damage to enemies.
Gods Must Die Difficulty Mode — This is DmC Definitive Edition’s hardest difficulty mode. It takes DmC’s ridiculously hard Dante Must Die mode and adds a touch more punishment: All enemies spawn with Devil Trigger active and no items or health drops can be used.
Rebalanced and Retuned — We’ve studied fan feedback and made a whole host of tweaks and balance changes. The style system has been rebalanced, as have bosses. Exploits have been fixed in combat and some of Dante’s moves rebalanced, such as the Demon Evade. Gameplay tweaks have been made following hardcore player testing; frames have been removed from Kablooey shots, Parry/Evade windows adjusted, and collectibles, keys and doors redistributed.
Integration of Popular Community Mods — DmC Definitive Edition includes community mods such as an optional timer disable for Bloody Palace Mode, a triple dash for Angel Evade, and the ability to hit red and blue enemies with any weapon.
New Cutscene — an added cinematic scene that never made it into the original.

Released March 17th. And devil may cry 4 will be coming to PS4 PSN in summer 2015.

Local co-op is dead with this gen unfortunately.

I guess Destiny was excluded as it's not really an exclusive, sure there are a couple of missions and weapons exclusive to PS, but that's it.

I've sinked a lot of hours into it, and you'll see a lot of people have in the Destiny thread. So it is a fun game, but it is flawed and involves a lot of grinding, so not for everybody.

I'm not just interested in exclusives. I own no other console so any game worth getting. Was there a new Tomb Raider released?

Yes a tomb raider was released (9/12/14), Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris its a sequel to the Guardian of Light download only game on PS3/360, it plays differently from the normal tomb raiders as the view is from above like the Diablo games from Blizzard.

The last Tomb Raider was released in 2013 and re-released for next gen under a definitive edition title this year... The game itself is amazing, I picked it up about 2 weeks ago for 18$ on US store... The new Tomb Raider (Rise of the Tomb Raider) is a timed exclusive to Xbox One and is being published by Microsoft unfortunately, which sucks considering how Tomb Raider was first successful on a Playstation console...

I guess when you splash the cash you get you get what you want in terms of exclusivity rights...

It's really remarkable! Odd that they tried to lock it down to Xperia, it could be a major selling point in the coming year.

I'm now considering getting one of those little clips so I can attach my phone to the DS4.

Where can you buy those clips? I got Xperia z myself and I would love to give it a go.

I think they were hoping it would be a selling point for the Xperia rather than the PS4, seeing as one is doing well and the other isn't.

Classic Sony lockdown, I'm glad they're in the shits after their highly anti-consumer practices over the years, hopefully they pull through and become a better company for it.

It may be worth more now as a selling point forthe PS4 compared to a selling point for the phones.

Not sure if there are clips for me as I've the older Z2. Will put this non my nexus tablet next, rooted it before to try get it working but had no luck.

Kinda kills a key PlayStation tv feature if any android micro console can do it.

Yup if you want to use it outside of the home and some other stuff.

Streaming inside your home is "free".
