Pre Ordered Tomb Raider there today for 35 pound from simply games on play.com after i read it was going to be 1080P and 60FPS like it looks so much better then the PS3 one witch i loved i just can't wait to get down to playing this great game again

has anyone brought any convex thumb grips for the ds4 or can recommend any ??

I don't like the concave grips on it at all ... went from regaurly being at least top 3 on ghosts on PS3 to coming last nearly every time on PS4 cant seem to get aim right at all .. wish we could just use our DS3`s on the PS4

While we're wishing for things, I wish I could use the xbox controller on the PS4 - the differences may be minor, but I know which one I prefer, and it's just a fictitious wish anyway :pac:

Just after calling SONY support due to my PS4 crashing into safe mode a few times now. I thought it was just BF4 but is happening to FIFA at least I have a huge back catalogue of games on PS3 nd Vita I need to play anyways!

Need to call back if it happens again after reinserting the hard drive and doing an initialisation the the console and it still happens!

What's the vibes on Tomb Raider? Any forward reviews done or anything?

I typically pre-order games on amazon to avail of the cheap price , and cancel if someone looks bollox. I just got Fifa (finally after massive mixup) and loving it, will definitely keep me ticking over. Struggling to keep going with Killzone and CoD is CoD, be finished in a few hours if I slap on single player.

Caught a glimpse of the new Lord of the rings game, looks excellent, a bit TOO much assassins creed but none the less excellent looking.

Havnt got the current assassins creed and hearing its excellent. Have a 30 quid voucher I might spend on it. Trying to do a "finish game before buying new one" policy but its just not working out haha

I think it's out in the US today and will be released in the EU next Friday so there should be some pretty in-depth analysis done over the weekend.

Guys question here i use unblockus (different dns)on my ps4 for the american netflix.Does this mean when i play multi player games bf4,kz do i get a high ping and bad lag because of it?

Nope. Unblock-us only routes you through their servers when you connect to Netflix, Hulu or other supported sites.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Limited digipack version and the standard edition? I was expecting this game to be €60 or €70? Why is it so reasonably priced?

I just checked and its €60 on Gamestop website.

From what I can gather the Limted edition pre order version has digipack packaging and exclusive artbook.
What confused me was the standard edition was £45 yesterday and the Limted edition digipack was £40
Will probably just go for the standard edition myself.
Does anyone know how much it will be on PSN?

EverQuest Next is coming to PlayStation 4, Sony Online Entertainment’s John Smedley has confirmed along with the new PlanetSide 2 will be released during the first half of the year.

Speaking in a Reddit AMA yesterday evening after SOE’s announcement of All Access and the subsequent closure of four MMOS, Smedley would only say it was “absolutely” coming to PS4 and left it at that.

When EQN was announced during SOE live in August 2013, the firm said it was focusing mainly on a PC launch, but was not “adverse to the idea” of bringing the MMO to PS4.

The game is expected to launch sometime next year, according to the AMA.

Smedley also said during the AMAA that he expects PlanetSide 2 to launch on PS4 during the first half of 2014.

“This year is what we’re shooting for,” he said. “It’s taking time to do this right but coming along great.”

Smedley also said the team “failed” regarding the Mac port for PS2, but now that the developer has “gotten the optimization patch out of the way” he will “re-light this fire.”

He also said SOE MMO players will finally be able to pay for their subs using PayPal “fairly soonish” and are working with Valve on “some Steam wallet, subscription stuff.”

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn coming to PS4 on April 14

Square Enix-developed massively multiplayer online game Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn is coming to PlayStation 4 on April 14, the publisher and studio announced today.

The next-gen title releases in a Standard Edition and Collector's Edition with pre-orders for each beginning today. Those who pre-order the MMO can expect to receive two in-game items - a mog cap and Cait Sith doll minion - as well as the ability to participate in Early Access of the game starting April 11.

Looking forward to this. A friend plays it religiously and keeps saying it's worth the time and money. We'll see.

Also have a €30 voucher for Smyths and unsure to go either Tomb Raider or Assassins Creed. ( granted didn't get around to reading about Tomb raider, but heard great things about Ass Creed)

Getting my PS4 tomorrow finally and was just wondering what you guys would recommend as to a first game to buy with the system? I will only be getting one for now due to limited funds but would really appreciate your input into what games you have played/enjoyed so far. Thanks!

Firstly, get PlayStation Plus. Not only do you need it for multiplayer anyway, but the free games every month are a massive bonus.

The best game on the PS4 at the moment is Assassin's Creed IV IMO. So if you can only buy one, I'd get that.

Remember that there are also a few free-to-play games on the system, like War Thunder, Blacklight: Retribution and Warframe, all of which are worth a go.

Enjoy the PS4 when you get it.

If you haven't played it on PS3/Xbox yet pick up the Definitive Edition of Tomb Raider, out Friday.
