College Transfers

    Hi everyone,

I've just been contemplating a transfer lately to a different college in Ireland, but I had a quick query. In the case of different modules being done at different times (i.e. I've covered some modules that the other colleges haven't, or they've covered some modules that I haven't) what would happen? Would I just carry on, having to repeat certain modules that I've done and miss out on the ones from the last college year that I haven't? Or would I be able to sit in on classes for the modules I'd have missed the previous year and skip the ones I've already completed?

Is the whole different modules thing also a disincentive for colleges to accept a transfer application?

It's actually just a personal preference that I don't want to miss certain modules, but if I got into that college I wouldn't really mind anyway. I've just never found anything on the issue of different material being covered when someone's applied to transfer so I was wondering if anyone here knew. Any advice would be appreciated :)
