Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I guess united to squeak by, 1-0. Rooney winning by himself I'd imagine.

But then, I don't think I've ever been right this season :D

Lambert's going for it. Bacuna Weimann dropped while Benteke keeps place. Finally have players that can play wide and cross in Lowton and Albrighton on pitch.

Lambert must be seriously confident today. Naming only 10 to start seems risky. Hey Ohhhh!

Great to hear Fletcher is back in the squad. The injured list sure is impressive.

Still confident of a United win, despite the injuries and general feeling of weakness about the team currently.

Jesus you can get united at 8/13 in some places.

    Who likes money?

Imagine Fletcher back at his best...

What an addition to the midfield he would be.

That was a great interview with Evra. Shame we don't the same passion on the pitch.

    So, why no Kagawa?

Benteke to break his drought, 2-0 Villa.

This is such a guaranteed United win historically that I don't think even a weak lineup (that it seems to be) can demolish it. Benteke is off form, Villa are better away and Villa just lost at Fulham

    Comfortable away win. Surely....

I don't think these historical records mean much. For example, how can a match between the two sides in 2002 have any sort of influence in predicting what happens in 2013? Different players, different managers, different everything. It might cause a slight psychological impact on players which could affect performances but that's really difficult to gauge.

A team having an out of the ordinary record at a certain ground can be mainly attributed to variance imo, just like heads appearing in 10 coin tosses in a row. It doesn't mean heads has a greater chance than tails of coming up in the next toss.

2-1 Villa, I dont see the misery over for Moyes yet. Got 4/1 on villa.

Can still get them at 4.5/1 if you wanna go again

That is one dodge looking Villa team, particularly the midfield. No excuses here for Man U.

History of this fixture favours united, same as history favoured them against newcastle and everton!

How Moyes thinks he can play Giggs and Cleverley vs a 3 man midfield is beyond me.
