Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

High kick, studs up and turned it in. Letter of the law = red, prob deserved a yellow but really really stupid from paulinho who has been played off the pitch by hendo.

This is a continuation of our home form and displays. You'd think this was being played at Anfield.

Absolute thuggery from the Brazilian, leave our Luis alone.

Think if he hadn't made that second move of the leg to make sure he made contact, he'd of gotten away with it.

    Stupid from him.

Yup, he barely touched him. Suarez got him sent off with the reaction, hopefully someone does kick him hard.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,548 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

How do people think that shoving studs into the chest is not a red card?

Remember the outcry in World Cup final 2010 with tackle on Alonso?

Sky would be saying something else if it wasn't Suarez.

Spurs 2-0 down and AVB insists on keeping on only 1 CF and plan B seems to be more of plan A?

    Hes clueless.
Honestly, I think he is a complete chancer of a manager. Even though he nearly wrecked your club, I'd say the most of our own fans would have creamed themselves if he was announced as Liverpool manager a year and a half ago.

There's gotta be a gif of AVB after that red card

    a broken man

I'm in two minds here. It does sort of look like Paulinho bent his foot back towards Suarez. That said, it could be the camera angle and he's actually pulling his foot back out. Need a better angle.

Are you seriously comparing what De Jong did in the final to that? With a straight face? That was a kung fu kick. It was nothing like the Paulinho incident.

To be honest, Paulinho's one reminded me of the Nani red card against Real Madrid in last years champions league. That wasn't a red either.
