When you sell your best player, throwing 100-odd million at the situation doesn't always help. It might soften the blow a bit, but it doesn't replace players like Bale who got them out of many sticky situations last season.

Justifies further Liverpool sticking their heals in over Suarez. And with any bit of luck, he will be playing Champions League football in front of the Kop next season.

AVB really is hated in England he is the manager version of Suarez. During the Summer he got no credit for bringing these players in it was all down to the good work of Franco Baldini. Now because they are not gelling Baldini sits in the stand smiling at the abuse AVB gets.
