Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

the only things we miss from Stevie are his individual moments of magic and set pieces.

in general play we look more energetic and controlled without him.

Yeah we look much more fluid and aggressive around the midfield.
Allen despite his size can throw himself around and just makes it difficult.
Johnson apart from the shot is very sloppy again.

That's a very impressive performance from Liverpool whatever way you look at it. Suarez hitting Ronaldo like levels this season, it'll be interesting to see of he can sustain it until May.

If we still have him by then :(

Our performance is as good as the Spurs performance has been bad. We are doing all the right things, we are full of energy, constantly pressing and closing down. The passing at times as been incredible, Spurs just can't cope with the rapid one touch passing we've got going inside their defence. Only criticism is that we haven't scored another goal or two.

Spurs looked weak as dog sh!t. Despite Chadli getting loads of space down the right (against Johnson who has been missing at times), he's only created one chance of any note. Spurs defence of the left particularly has been shocking. Capoue and Naughton just look so desperate any time they are on the ball that they do anything to get rid of it, which leads to mistakes and has been a big part in how we've been able to carve them open.

Eventually, I'm going to have to ask myself if this really is Liverpools year! :0

Always said he would be vital in the away games versus the top teams. Work rate is second to none.

There is more fluidity from midfield passing.

Willl BR have the cahones to make the decision when stevie is fit again though. If we continue in this form he may have to!

We notoriously suck diddies in the 2nd half, this season.

Come on Spurs need a huge 2nd half needed Ill take a 3-3 now

I think he does look at Agger ! He has dropped him because he see's Sakho and Skrtel as a better partnership .

Be very easy to get dragged back into this.

A set piece, a long range goal or something from nothing and all that dominance won't leave us with much to show for it.

If Spurs score first next half I'd back them to get a 2nd.

We need to still have a 2 goal lead when our energy starts to run out. We can't keep this pressing game up for 90 minutes (I don't think).
Some Sterile Domination™ is in order.

Spurs are all over the place.

It is when you sell Bale and replace him with a team of wannabe DMs:o

Unbelievable first half from the team. The pressure we are exerting on spurs when they have the ball is Barcelona esque from a couple of years back.

Sterling for the first 25 or so was immense. For whatever reason, he is a player that needs to start games, not as an impact sub.

    Henderson has been quality.

Allen continuing to impresss me more and more. Love the way he plays, dictating the tempo.

I think we are seeing just why Sakho was hyped up so much. He is a beast at the back, not only in tackling, but so composed with linking with the midfield in tight situations.

Please please do not throw this away Liverpool.

Problem with Gerrard on the panel is Carragher and Souness can't really discuss the elephant in the room, that our midfield looks better without him.

2 subs gone and no improvement to Spurs attacking options

High pressing backline works if you have the players to work it, changes in now.

You cant tackle from behind, nor can you drop the shoulder into a players back.

    Really basic stuff....

well if it happened outside the box the ref wouldnt have given the free at all and play would have continued;)
