County Kildare Orchestra looking for violinists

    Hi-

    County Kildare Orchestra is urgently looking for string players- particularly violins and violas.

    We're a really friendly group and we rehearse roughly once/ twice per month in a gorgeous hall in the Camphill Community outside Naas.

    The repertoire is classical- we just did our Christmas concert last night and it was Borodin (In the Steppes of Central Asia), Grieg (Peer Gynt No. 1) and Corelli (Christmas Concerto Grosso).

    Next year we're getting Seiko Tsukamoto (finalist Dublin International Piano Competition) to play Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 2. Concert is on 7 June.
