Low-light/Nightlight type light fixture

Hi, I'm looking for a certain type of light, it's going to be ceiling mounted, and it will be used to cast a gentle soft dull glow on audio equipment, I'd be thinking of a coloured type of light, soft blue or orange etc, a coloured led fitting would suit me perfectly, but I'd need it to be only putting out a very low light output. Has anyone any links or details on such a light, if it exists. Thanks

bit big , but I'll find you and LED one that you can dim, there are GU10 ones on ebay that have a remote control and an array of colours and a cheap option

something like this GU10, loads of place sell them. then pop in in a recessed downlight

then just get a robus type GU10 downlight for about 5 or 6 euro in an electrical wholesalers

some of those light dim and run a colour change sequence, there are some irish lads selling them , in stock around too if you look. They have a dimming button but not a lot happen when you press it, the light output can be so poor from these anyway it could end up being what you want.

That's very helpful, thanks for that!

You could use HT gel on any incandescent or LED, to alter the colour and dim output.
Avoid contact with bulb glass if putting it on an incandescent.

Any professional stage lighting supplier will have a range in stock.

Par 16's or birdies take GU10's or MR16's or LED compatibles and come with gel holders.
