Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Good signing for them... we'll see Martinez bringing in two or three I'd say. Boyce could join Everton

    Crazy transfer.

Roma didn't really want to sell but money was too good.
Player didn't really want to go.
    AVB didn't want the player!

Daniel Levy is such a tough negotiator.

Possibly! Powerful young lad. Only 18 too! He was only 16 when he played for Burkina Faso in the Africa Cup of Nations two years ago!

apparently OGS and tan walked into the emirates together.

Ole would be daft to take that job on.
Tan seems like a bit of a nut bar, impossible to manage a team with him lokoing over your shoulder.

Solskjaer is completely overrated anyway. Combined with Vincent Tan, that will turn out to be a disaster.

That's exactly his excuse if he fails and if he succeeds well fair play to him

    Win win situation

He said 2/3 years ago he had signed for Chelsea only for it to turn out not to be true, for some reason he had to wait until he was 18 and for the window to open to sign.

He played on our pre-season and looked decent enough as well, I think he managed to score too.

He'll probably spend the next 3 years on loan across Europe anyway before he gets into the team and at that stage he'll have been replaced by £20-25 million player, its the Chelsea way.

Newcastle fans, how much do you think it would take to prize Cabaye away, £20m?

25+ i'd say. We don't have to sell and Ashley is infamously stringent with both sales and buying.

Theres nothing concrete att he moment but the window is only open so it could develop.

Could be a decent short term option if it happens.

January transfer window should only be used for emergency buys IMO.

Clubs pay massively over the odds waiting til summer is a better option for sure..

if its the difference between staying up and relegation teams are always going to buy in January.I much preferred the old system.
United supporter myself and I think they will have to buy one ,hopefully 2 players to salvage the season.CM and LB needed badly.

I thought it came out of nowhere to be honest. Linked with Bayern for months and ends up signing with Leverkusen.

Lacina Traore has signed for Monaco from Anzhi. Rumours that he'll be loaned to West Ham until the summer. Great move for the hammers if true.

No sign of him to sign a new contract, most likely Porto want to get a few quid for him this month.

I wouldn't be surprised if one or two big signings get completed by a couple of clubs that raise a few eyebrows.

Some clubs may act on potential targets before they go to the World Cup in fear they it might increase their asking price if they have a good tournament.
The opposite is also true, but we might see players move for a little above their market value to secure their signature.
