The gig in Dublin is the day before Arcade Fire/Pixies in Marlay Park. Gonna be an expensive and hectic wkend!

same weekend as Bryan Adams in Cork.

What hotels are near the venue, thinking of going to this and spending the weekend down in cork

That is shaping up to be a very good weekend with Arcade Fire and The Pixies on Sunday.

Hopefully the weather holds up, actually fu(k the weather...with a line up like that it can p!ss down for all I care!

Definitely gonna make the Cork show, don't know if it will sell out fully either which is grand. Will hopefully make both shows, so my two and bit weeks off work will go: Biffy Cork, Biffy Dublin, Pixies Cork, Rock Werchter. Squeeze in the World Cup matches, it should be a fun summer.

There's a presale for both gigs tomorrow. Anyone know if it's through Biffy site or Mcd site?

Looks like the gigs will be Heineken sponsored
The band will then head to Cork on 27th June 2014 to play Live At The Marquee in the Docklands area of the city, before heading to Dublin to play a unique Heineken Live show which will take place in the intimate and historic setting of Royal Hospital Kilmainham on 28th June 2014.

How quickly are we looking at this selling out? Beyoncé levels?

The o2 had roughly 10k there. With a split of venues it shouldn't be immediate, but maybe Will a bit beforehand!

Yay! I was horribly sick the last time I saw them and swore I'd go again to get a proper experience of their show.

Might be some decent support if it's an outdoor gig too :)

The bar set up was a joke, and getting out at the end was dangerously organised, hopefully they learn their lesson

I remember when you could get 4 tickets to see Biffy at that price :(.

Mike Vennart is good but he's not that good to warrant that price tag :D

Yeah totally agree, especially leaving the venue, that was seriously close to trouble!

Different promoter this time round, I dont have faith MCD will do anything different though!

Friend picked up two tickets, while I got the Panic at the Disco! tickets.

The sound was pretty poor at Blur, so fingers crossed that much is fixed up!!
