A&PI Chrimbo Crackers Photo Competition!

It's been wayyy too long since we had a photo competition for the forum, and I for one want to see lots and lots of pictures of your pets!
So what's in it for you if you win?
I will donate €25 to the animal charity of your choice, as long as it is based in Ireland, and is registered as a charity with Revenue:)
I will donate a further €25 to the Santa Strike Force (SSF) on your behalf:)
So, how will this all work?
Well, it is based on the super-duper Virtual Pet Show which was run here in 2011.
Here iz de rulez:
1. We will have 13 Categories. The winner of each category will be selected based on the number of "thanks" it gets. The most thanked picture in each category goes forward to the Grand Final to be considered for the overall First Place.
2. At the start of your post, please clearly state which category you're entering with each photo.
3. Each poster can enter one photo per category (note this rule change, made 17th Dec at 10.30ish am!)
4. One picture per post. Any additional pictures beyond the first will be deleted. If you want to enter the same picture in more than one category, post it twice so that each can be voted for separately.
5. Please keep the photo size to a maximum of 640 x 480!
6. Do not quote photos... these posts will be deleted.
7. This competition is open to pet animals of all species.
So, here's what your post should look like:
Category 2: Oul Wans
Name: Fido
Age: 12
Then your picture.
If you need to put in a little blurb about the photo, do so under the photo.
Category voting will finish next Saturday, Dec 21st at 9pm sharp.
The winner of each category will go forward to the Grand Final, voting for which will close on Monday December 23rd at 9pm sharp.

Here are the Categories:
Category 1: Young 'Uns
Photos of your baby pets.. please state your pet's age at the time the photo was taken.
Category 2: Oul Wans
Photos of your senior pets... please state your pet's age at the time the photo was taken.
Category 3: Best Dressed
Does your pet like to wear bling? Or have a particularly lovely garment that flatters their looks even more? Giz' a look!
Category 4: Biggest Festive Poser
Does your pet think they're a Chrimbo pin-up? Like to be the center of attention during the Silly Season? This is your chance to make sure they're the center of attention!
Category 5: The Christmas Awww Factor
Pics of pets at Christmas that make you go weak at the knees with the cuteness of them!
Category 6: Pets With Jobs
All our pets perform an important role, but does your pet go the extra mile? Show us your special pet here!
Category 7: Famous Face
Does your pet remind you of someone famous? Does your cat look like Hitler? Your hamster look like Marlon Brando? Post the pic and let's see do we agree!
Category 8: The LOL Factor
Have you captured a moment where your pet has made you burst out laughing? Don't be selfish! Give us a laugh too!
Category 9: Best Action Shot
Do you have a picture of your pet which captures a moment of frenzied activity? As long as it's not too blurred, let's see it!
Category 10: All Friends Together
We're looking for great pictures you've captured of your pets in groups of 2 or more with each other or their mates!
Category 11: *Vicious* Dogs
We're looking for pictures of your FEROCIOUS Restricted Breed dogs here doing something particularly FEROCIOUS
: purebreds and crosses all qualify!
Category 12: Christmas Cat Madness
Have you got a picture of your cat who's determined to make his/her mark on your Christmas? Go on, giz a laugh!
Category 13: Dog and Cat Free Zone
This is where we want to see pics of any pets that aren't dogs or cats! Rodents, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, invertebrates... or any others I may have forgotten! If it's a pet, and not a dog or cat, post it here!
As always, please don't thank them all for the sake of thinking them all, or we'll never have a winner!

My little daughter lives with an extremely rare life limiting genetic condition. This little dog Abbi brings some normality to her life which for the past 6 years has consisted of non stop appointments and therapy!
