    hi ya

posted kinda same query on a different forum but only got one reply so posting again

I have one working storage heater in the living area of my apartment. Was working fine up until the weeked and then I changed the settings and now doesnt seem to work apart from boost.

The input is at 6 and output is at 4. That is the only change. Woke up this morning and the heater was cold. The boost works fine. Left it 24 hours to charge and again cold this morning.

Was advised here to check if anything tripped and nothing that I could see has done that.

    The boost still works.

I work everyday so leave the apt from 8am until approx 6.30pm. I am thinking of just giving up on the storage heater and buying a halogen heater instead to keep me warm in the evening.

Just wondering does anyone think there would be a quick solution to this problem. I like my landlord and dont really want to bother him at this time of year. There are only 2 storage heaters in the apt and both were replaced since I moved in nearly 3 years ago. The one in the bedroom has never worked though so I just use a fan heater instead.

Any advice on how to resolve this myself. There is power going to the storage heater but it is just not storing heat at all suddenly.
