Funnily enough, we had fried rice last night.
Brown Thai rice, carrot, onion celery, red pepper, spring onion white bits, garlic, ginger, chillies, preserved black beans, peas, sweetcorn, chicken thighs, egg, chicken jus, soy sauce, spring onion green bits, fresh coriander.

Forgot to put in Chinese sausage and sesame oil.
    Very tasty none the less.

I tried that brand chilli and peanut sauce a few years ago and didn't like it at all. I thought the chilli bits were really hard and the sauce quite bitter.

1 1/4" thick Ribeye, Rudy's BBQ rub spices, seared rare, with colcannon, beans, slaw, baguette, and sprinkled with cilantro, aka coriander.

Made the rabbit stew tonight using this recipe. Delicious delicious delicious! Served with fine beans and crusty bread. Used more cider and more stock than stated in recipe and reduced it in the end, adding dijon and creme fraiche.

    We had home-made pizza tonight.
I've gone right off the frozen ones; I cooked one last month and the oil that came off it turned my stomach.

Chili with 2 types of beans to bulk it up for budgetary sakes, 2 types of cheese for gluttony and extra jalapenos to make it hot enough for my tastes but not so hot that other people in the house have to have scrambled eggs for dinner

Once you perfect the base, there's no going back.

I'm thinking the same now with quarter pounders. Since I tried out my new burger maker, I wouldn't be fair on myself buying one in a chipper.

Tonight we had chicken fillets with dried parsley, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, dried chilli flakes and olive oil.

We roasted some baby potatoes with salt, pepper, olive oil, cayenne pepper, and dried chillies but the spuds weren't edible, they had a strong taste of grass or something off them and we just couldn't eat them.

Last night was a Chicken korma & basmati rice. In the interest of time I cheated and used one of the Aruna sauces and just added red pepper and red chili.

    Served with naan

The wedges to salad ratio was in my favor of course ;)

We had home-made tomato soup for starters this evening. It was really nice.

    4ifqe0.jpg

For dinner we had a lovely chicken on the bone with stuffing, miniature baby potatoes and salad. I didn't think I'd eat it all but I did!

I made a lemon drizzle cake today (first time making one) and I was so impressed by it.
We had a slice about an hour after dinner.

Tonights and last nights dinner two for the price of one :o.

First up meat loaf pot roast used milled oats to hold it together instead of crackers and chick peas on the side cooked in tomatoes and onion.

    SAM_0801_zpsdebc6cf7.jpg

Second up doesn't look great and a bit messy but my god it tasted amazing a proper cheat meal for me.

Pulled pork with hot sauce on a bun, homemade pesto coleslaw and homemade spicy potato salad.

Last night had chicken breasts stuffed with chorizo in a tomato sauce with sweet potato wedges and roasted veg.
@Martymcfly do you have a recipe for the meatloaf you could share? Love meatloaf, haven't had any in ages.

I'd be interested to hear what went in it. Aren't chillies off limits?

it really is delicious made way to much so brought some to the mothers and it went down a storm.

It's simple really just get your white cabbage, carrots, spring onion and parsley all ready to go then add as much mayo and pesto to suit your own tastes.

Nope :) But onions and garlic are. I put in a handful of cherry tomatoes plus a tin of them, some finely chopped peppers, carrot and the green part of the scallion. Then yeast-free stock, some chilli, smoked paprika, a dash of dark soy sauce, a little tomato paste and a spoonful of sugar. Next time I'll put a little bacon in too.

Not according to the specialist he saw who was very specific, she tweaks everyones' diet based on their own case history. For example he's allowed milk in his cereal and up to 2 slices of wholemeal bread a day but others won't be allowed any gluten or dairy etc. Anyway that's probably enough of me derailing the thread so let's carry on posting delicious dinners ;)
