Did the refs just change the call based on the jumbotron?

Oh big call in Seattle to be made!! I've seen it a few times and can't decide!

Regardless of what happens here, Bruce Arians deserve to be coach of the year again this year. What a job he has done and the Cardinals are such an underrated team.

Arians coach of the year again? dont think you will find many arguments against, either him, Reid or Rivera?

Just realised Manning tied the TD record today - one next week will get him to 52.

He is also now on 5,211 passing yards, 275 off Brees' record.

18 points will make Denver the highest scoring all time team - they are at 576, the record is 589 from the 2007 Pats.

They play Oakland next week... the poor guys! :p

At 112.something, Aaron Rodgers 121 QBR record remains safe, though. :D

Packers tie it up, 31-31 with just over 7 minutes left. It's been a fair old roller coaster!

That was awful, when they just needed to get in field goal range.

Eli is after the interception record after hearing about his brothers record today.

Discarded by the steelers! Good man Mike Tomlin!

Game over in Baltimore. Playoff hopes over too. Lots of work needed on the offense especially at wide receiver and offensive line during the offseason. Ozzie has his work cut.

It's amazing that we even had the chance to seal a playoff spot in week 16 given that we haven't been able to run the ball all year, Flacco has had 5 more INT's than his previous worst season, the offensive line has been non-existent and we have gone 7 quarters (and counting) without scoring a TD.

That is the result of the season for the Cards. Jesus Christ the NFC West is going to be tough next year. I pity Jeff Fisher.

Cardinals are a good team! If they somehow make the playoffs they have as good a chance as any of the other teams!

Pats offense needs to do something, been absolutely shocking in the second half

Probably not until the halfway line at least - we've held them out so far in the 4th and Masthay is quality. Feckin' nervy, though!

Sweet f'king Jesus. That's probably the season...

    EDIT: He was down!

Jesus a fumble in green bay and offensive holding.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

    Eventually game over.

Pats offense were stoned for most of the second half which is troubling

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,323 ✭✭✭padraig_f

What the **** are the Giants doing? Attempting 20 yard passes when they're in field goal range.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

Impressed by how the Pats ST have shut down Jones, the best returner in the league imo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,472 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

I'm getting an ulcer over here.

    Kick the bloody FG.

Pitt trying a go ahead FG too..I'm dying.

    Lions DONE!

Anyone actually know the list of playoff scenarios for next week? I've given up trying to make sense of them at this stage.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

Nick Perry, go f'k yourself. At least the Giants got the win, we need a HUGE favour from the Eagles now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,323 ✭✭✭padraig_f

    Woohoo, thanks Giants. Lions eliminated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,591 ✭✭✭skeleton_boy

And there goes the season on a special teams penalty.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

Poor from the Steelers - should have kneeled it out and taken the FG. I doubt it, but we still have 85 seconds to get a TD.

1:30 - kneel and GB TO
    1:28 - kneel
    0:48 - kneel
0:09 - TO & FG, eating up another 3 seconds or so. Grubber kick to a lineman or else out of the back of the end zone.

    You're not the only one.

The Lions choke again, what a disaster of a month for them.

Think its time they looked for a new coach.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,323 ✭✭✭padraig_f

Hmm, Steelers were probably better off taking knees and running the clock down for a FG.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,472 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

    What an amazing Sunday.

Lets get it done later now! Nervy game for Bear fans, should be a great game for neutrals with two ****ty D's vs two top 5 offenses.

Edit: Why did I think the Steelers had a two score lead :( It's not over yet.

    Double edit: F*ck my life.

Man, that Lions team is a complete mess particularly the offence. Not one positive from them tonight bar Joique Bell.

Hopefully once Schwarz is gone at the end of the season, a proper QB coach is hired for Stafford. His play towards the end of this season is abysmal.
