Dublin Pride Music Group looking for new members of ALL skill level

Hi all, the Dublin Pride Music Group is re-launching for 2014 and we are looking for new members with all skill levels!

The Dublin Pride Music Group is an organisation of musicians who identify themselves as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered and LGBT-friendly who perform as a symphonic wind ensemble and marching band. While the Dublin Pride Music Group performs works of all genres, we provide particular attention to the works of young Irish composers and LGBT composers. The Dublin Pride Music Group is different from all other performance groups in that we not only encourage inexperienced musicians to join, but we also train new musicians with a dedicated educational staff.

The Education Branch of the Dublin Pride Music Group is now recruiting prospective musicians for induction into the Band of the Dublin Pride Music Group, or the Dublin Pride Music Group Concert Orchestra. All lessons delivered by Education Branch follow the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) syllabi, and include lessons in the following instruments:
- Flute (and Piccolo);
- Oboe;
- Clarinet;
- Saxophone;
- Bassoon;
- French Horn;
- Trumpet (and Cornet);
- Trombone;
- Euphonium;
- Tuba;
- Percussion;
- Violin;
- Viola;
- Cello; and
- Double Bass.
