Trying to add a sepa payee to my account

    Hi,

    I am trying to add a sepa payee to my account but i keep getting an error saying that the combination of iban and bic are not right. i contacted you guys yesterday and you told me that there is changes being made to the system last night but im still receiving the same error here is the details im trying to add.

    If you have confirmed that the IBAN and BIC are indeed correct and you are still experiencing difficulty adding this payee, please contact Bank of Ireland 365 on 0818 365 365 / 003531 4044000 and a representative will be happy to investigate it further for you.

    If we can help with anything else, please let us know.

    If you have confirmed that the IBAN and BIC are indeed correct and you are still experiencing difficulty adding this payee, please contact Bank of Ireland 365 on 0818 365 365 / 003531 4044000 and a representative will be happy to investigate it further for you.

    I have done this twice already and they have said it should work can you take my details and try and get me a definitive answer?

    Hi the libertyboy.

    When entering the payee details, if you are including the 3 x's at the end of your swift code, please remove them and you should then have no issues adding the payment details.

    If this does not resolve the issue for you, please let us know.

    When entering the payee details, if you are including the 3 x's at the end of your swift code, please remove them and you should then have no issues adding the payment details.

    Hi Laura,

    I have tested all of this and when i called you guys they said the original bic was correct and the iban. i would really appreciate if you could get someone to look at as its holding up me buying an expensive xmas present :(
