Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it just me that doesn't think it was as good a strike as the commentators are making out? It should have been saved IMO.

Did he even see it lol? Rocket tbf

Chico on the pitch two mins and sets up a goal too. There's literally no reason to play welbeck ahead of him

Neither are good at leading the line alone and Welbeck links the play better so I can understand that, picking either of them to lead the line alone alone I cant understand though.

Should have started them together up top

has been involved well a few times since. A loose touch by Hernandez sets upna goal
a loose touch by welbeck oft ends up in a goal kick :pac:

Young is thinking to himself " Whoa, I should try getting it into the goal more often." Like the hole in one scene in Happy Gilmore.

he's trying a fair bit harder tonight, has been "genuinely" fouled as Alan Smith put it 4 or 5 times... winning free kicks, better corner deliveries 2nd half and getting involved a fair bit. The simple things, that's his job, but its better I'll give him that.

You never know he could improve even more and get back to form we know he can get to.

I cant believe your actually defending Young. I cant help but laugh tbh. I do admire you trying to defend the indefensible but come on its ****ing Young your defending

He has been more involved but you have to admit he had a poor touch for the goal and young took it off his toe

that's a **** attitude tbh. Poor players can play well now and again, are you to just ignore that because thwyre usually ****? Young could regain form (unlikely) no sense in holding a grudge like a twat :)

I must have higher standards for utd than you. Why should we settle for average players that just perform good once in awhile. I dont want Young at my club. I dont want average players any where near my team tbh. There's a rotting core at utd, which is mainly full of average players.

Young wasnt good enough for utd in the first place and hopefully get his marching orders in summer.

don't be praising young on these threads boy. You're not allowed to praise players on good performances if theyre usually ****

Our fans have been brilliant tonight. They are rocking the place!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

Young has had a very positive impact on this game

That's all you can ask from him really. He deserves a break from the constant abuse for tonight anyway.

Disliking a player is one thing, refusing to acknowledge any good he does is another, at the end of the day he is still a United player, whether I like him or not I will support him.

Sorry but your attitude is awful, If Young was to get back to the form of his debut season then he's worth keeping around.
