Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am looking to buy a new iMac 21" 2.9Ghz.

Are the prices watertight on these or can anyone recommend a shop to contact that they had previous dealings with.

    Cheers.

IConnect had 10% off last Saturday - watch out for deals from them

Based in Portarlington. I will call iconnect in New bridge to see if that deal is to be repeated.

That may have been for the opening only. Might have missed it.

It turns out Dublin airport has the best price available for apple products, 6% duty removed.

OP would you consider purchasing a reburbished model. Ive purchased 3 devices from the refurbished store and they have all been immaculate quality and you still get a 1 year warranty unlike most places that only offer 90 days.

How does it work? Do you order & pay when flying out and collect on returning flight?

Exactly that, or if you have a friend working in the airport you could have them purchase it for you at any time.

+1 for refurb. Only "problem" is that they don't have all models in stock at all times, you have to watch the page to get exactly what you want.

Buying a device like this, at that cost, it is insane to buy from a seller to save a hundred euro unless they have an excellent after service reputation. How far will you have to travel to get it fixed ? will they send it back to Apple ? How long will they leave you waiting ? Will they use the correct parts ?
