BOI processing problem, today 20/12/13

    Can any of the BOI reps clarify what the problem is today with the processing of 3rd party company wages into customers accounts?
    Payments that were due to be cleared last night still haven't been processed and I've heard there was a problem with files updating in BOI.


    When can we expect this to be resolved?

    Hi paulbok,

    You are correct there was a delay with an incoming payment file into BOI.  Credits due in accounts this morning are currently being processed and your balance should update before lunch time.

    Is this problem linked to the problem with AIB. The payments through aib are not being processed today either

    Hi markb801,

    There are currently no delay's with payments.  Some payments crediting customer's accounts were delayed earlier but they have since been processed and balances have been updated.

    I was wondering did BOI explain what caused the problem? Always nice to hear it was fixed, but also would be nice to know what caused it in the first place.

    There was a delay of a couple of hours with some payments as a result of a late payment file coming in to BOI.
