2014 Predictions

So the "Well I got that wrong" thread made me think we could maybe make predictions for the year ahead?

Maybe then revisit at the end of the year to see how we did.

Thinking 5 predictions each. Can be completely out there if you want since it is just for fun. I would just ask that a few be for further in the year than Mania since there are so many rumours doing the rounds for Mania and before it.

Have to think of some myself so if anyone else wants to start, go ahead. Just wanted to get this posted when I thought of it.

So will AJ become WWE WHC champion? Big Show to be consistent as only one of face or heel for the full year?

Reigns to get a mega push in the first three months, only to be jobbing out by the summer.

I predict Daniel Bryan to end 2014 as the champ.

I predict John Cena to have a 5 star match at Mania with whoever he faces and almost everyone will say it was down to his opponent, whoever that may be.

I predict Big E to get better and better in ring and end 2014 as a heel.

I predict CM Punk to take a sabbatical at some point for more than 3 months.

I predict Roman Reigns to be the MITB winner.

I predict Seth Rollins to have a series of great matches with Cody Rhodes.

I predict Goldust to be playing a comedy role by April end and then fade into obscurity around summers end.

Last one,

I HOPE we see Aj Lee vs Kaitlin in WWE’s first ever dildo on a pole match.

TNA will have a better 2014 than 2013. Mostly because that really shouldn't be that hard.

The Real Americans to split, with Cesaro getting pushed to near main event (possibly to feud with Cena)

Booyaka Booyaka, ow my knee! Mysterio to get injured again.

CM punk to return to challenging for the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn to break into the main roster. Bo Dallas will remain in NXT for the entrity of 2014.

Sheambo to return at the Rumble, as a face, turning heel shortly after.

We'll still be told HHH will improve the product without doing so.

*Ziggler will get a push for a midcard title, do well and get teased with another main event push at the end of the year
*The Real Americans will split, leading to a massive grudge match at SummerSlam
*The Wyatt Family will hold the Tag Team titles at some point
*The Bella Twins will split temporarily for a PPV grudge match (possibly WrestleMania) but reform afterwards
*Cameron will win the Divas' Championship and turn heel, feuding with Naomi
*The Shield will tease tension a couple of times but won't actually split

Isn't Miz a face now, he was on Smackdown but today was the 20th so maybe he's just a face on even days of the month.

The Miz seems to be getting portrayed as more of a wild card tweener but I expect him to become a more traditional face midway through the year. He's just run his course as a heel

Kaitlyn actually did play a heel for three matches on the new NXT when it first aired. She was more of a cocky coward. I don't know about lesbian but she did hold that body scissors on particularly hard

My predictions are:
Reigns will finish the year a face
Big E will finish the year a heel
They'll bring Bo up with the intention of keeping him similar to NXT where he'll redebut as a face but if the fans go against him will start to turn him. Though this time Cena may step in to say they shouldn't affect him.
One of their current main eventers will go out injured, probably Orton.

My Predictions:

-Roman Reigns will eliminate the most men in the Royal Rumble before being eliminated by Ambrose who will have one of the longest (if not the longest) time spent in the Rumble. Rollins will also have a long stay in the Rumble.
-CM Punk will win the Royal Rumble and beat Orton for the title at Wrestlemania.
-All 3 members of the Shield will face each other for the US title in a triple threat match @WM30 with Rollins winning the title.
-Cody and Goldust will have a fantastic match at WM.
-Rhodes will win the MitB.
-Daniel Bryan will beat Punk for the World title (perhaps @Summerslam)
-Reigns will win the World title towards the end of the year as a face (possibly against Bryan).
-Big E will hold the IC title for the entire 2014.
-Real Americans disband.
-Rollins will turn face whilst holding the US title and have great feuds with Ziggler and Cesaro.
-Sami Zayn, Kallisto, Adrian Neville, Leo Kruger, the Ascension, Paige and Bo Dallas will all be called up this year.
-Sheamus will return @RR as a face and tag with Cena against the Wyatt Family @WM30. He will turn heel at WM.
-Wyatt Family are booked very strong for first half of 2014 before falling off massively towards the end of the year. Bray Wyatt nearly wins MitB. Wyatt Family win tag titles. Bray beats Rollins for his US title.
-Cruiserweight title is brought back midway through the year. First champion is Sin Cara.

I made horrible 2013 predictions on another wrestling forum, something along the lines of "Daniel Bryan will never be more than a comedy sketch" .

I don't see Big E's push lasting long. Perhaps fizzled out by the summer time.

Punk will have some sort of title reign, short though. As will Bryan.

Roman Reigns will be pushed to the moon around Summerslam time.

A major heel turn will happen, too many faces on the roster right now. Or a Dean Ambrose mega heel push.

- Kurt Angle will return/announce a return to WWE in 2014.

- Big E will have a long Intercontinental Title reign.

- Curtis Axel will disappear from TV.

- Antonio Cesaro will turn Face.

- Batista will return as a Face, eventually feud with Brock (Beast v Animal) and will turn heel before 2015.

- The Cruiserweight Title will return and probably be exclusive to Smackdown.

- JTG will be released.

- The Bryan/Wyatt angle will crossover into the Kane/Authority angle and 'Taker will feature.

- Roman Reigns will be in the title picture from Summerslam onwards.

- Brodus Clay and Tensai's feud will elevate neither. :P
