If it's that important to you, why can't you post the issue here instead of linking to another site?

so you had serious problems with their store in Blanchardstown and then all ypou did was go to a different branch of the EXACT SAME COMPANY?????

Wow - that will really punish them.

Next thing you'll be saying you believe their "60% off today" sales are REAL!

Here's a tip - use a LOCAL INDEPENDENT carpet retailer. He'll be a lot cheaper and service will be far far better. Why?, because he doesn't have huge retail rents and rates to pay to be in a fancy retail park, he doesn't have to pay for huge head office costs and he doesn't have to provide shareholders with 15%+ net profit after ALL other costs are paid.

And before anyone says I'm in the trade - no, but I always use either Allied Carpets in Robinhood (dubin 12) or Flinters in Athy. They've NEVER let me down.

I read the facebook thread and it seems to be about the edges of a carpet bound or unbound, customer said its paid and marked on docket, shop said it wasnt, carpet fitters not turning up etc. Very frustrating. Agree with the comments about dealing with your local small business rather than paying for some absent shareholders.

    HOWEVER,

some of the language used by the customer is not acceptable.......

    F***** this, F*** that,

I think I'd rather walk on broken glass than their f****** carpet! and then to Sandy (seems to be a customer care employee)

"that is about as useful as tits on a bull"??????

Sorry, but if someone addressed me in that manner, I would refuse to deal with them. I dont care how frustrated they are with THE COMPANY and maybe they have every right to be, but if I am trying HELP YOU, treat me with the respect I deserve.

Your very right! Was too busy to put enough thought into it! Driving past spur of the moment thing. It was another 'to do' on my list and I just wanted it done.

Lesson previously learned has been driven home and embedded in my brain this time!!

    Independent retailer after Krimbo!

Why not just explain on boards.is? We don't all use Facebook. Plus why would we bother going elsewhere to see your issue?
