Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I booked this for the hell of it for next year. A weekend, because I want to see Hibs play on the Saturday. I will be staying in Leith next to Royal Yacht Britannia, a landmark in itself. Do you have any other suggestions? I was thinking Calton Hill for the great view of the city. Can you recommend anything off the beaten path?

Take a trip to Queensferry over the Forth bridge...

First time staying down that end? If so then I'd advise not walking to/from the hotel when it gets dark.
Calton hill is closer (10mins from Easter Road) but you'd get amazing views from Arthurs Seat, relatively easy walk up it to.

National Portrait Gallery is down that end too.
If you rent a bike you can jump on a cycle path and head directly out to the Queensferry to stretch the legs (you won't be across the water but you can stop under the bridges at South Queensferry).
