Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys, my iPhone won't recognize any charger or dock, the phone also won't turn off it keeps turning itself back on. I didn't drop it or get it wet, this just happened out of nowhere.

I plugged it in lastnight and it started charging as normal. Woke this morning and now it won't!

Also there is no sound working. Anybody have any ideas? Cheers

Try holding down the power button and home button together for 10 seconds and that should reset it

Done that, the phone just restarts it's self, will not turn off at all
Cheers for the swift reply though

Sorry that didn't work had a similar issue before on 3GS and that sorted it out for me. Not sure what else to do, maybe a hard reset but you will lose all your data so you'd need to have everything backed up.

But I'm sure a bit of time googling those symptoms should throw some other suggestions before going with a hard reset, would be the last option to try.

A few months after getting my 4s i noticed that my phone wouldn't turn off,I turned it off by holding down the button but it would automatically came on. I asked apple about it on there website as it was still in warranty and the sent me out a box to send it bck to them,After a few days they sent me out a new phone.. Never really discovered what the problem was.
