If people think that's a penalty its a sad day.

Edit. Oh wait the two great pundits said it is so it must be.

Two tough defenders no less. Thought it was a nailed on penalty myself

Better then anyone at the world at it? Yet stats suggest he isn't the best in the Premier League at it this season.

He has a long way to go to live up to this "great player" tag that many label him.

No really, its not everyone else, its you.

Yes better then anyone in the world at it

He has the most assists in Europe over the last 5 years, if that isn't consistently the best what is?

Look past the wood and see the trees my friend

    1) Mesut Ozil – Arsenal – 72 assists

Arsenal have spent £42m on Europe’s most creative footballer over the past five seasons. The 24-year-old German playmaker has made a whopping 72 assists over this time, starring for Werder Bremen and Real Madrid. Ozil is a fantastic playmaker, and is all set to take the Premier League by storm this season.

Was at least a yellow, yet Mikel didn't even get a warning, never mind a yellow.

No denying that just can't listen to either of them. He went down way to easy I thought. He was looking for it. Yeah he touched him but he certainly didn't foul him he just went down Lookin for it imho.

    Yes.

Them two muppets arguing at half time has been the most entertaining thing about this game.

Have us een walcotts' corner taking? they have been great so far

The first one was awful which was when I posted that but yeah since that one they've been good in fairness.

If Chelsea had an inkling of composure tonight on the counter they could easily have been 2 up. That's the 2nd time it's been 4 v 3.

Not a shot on goal yet. Dreadful stuff but we're getting more of the ball now in their half.

Chelsea not really putting anything together this half so far.

The quality of attacking play has been pretty poor

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

This is a massive half coming up now.
We are playing poorly, carrying the poor form of the last few games into this.

If we don't improve big-time and win this then I can't see any reason why we would be in contention for the EPL.
We need to be winning these games.

Can't agree with this, you really think if you don't win this game then it's end of story for the league?

A lot of the title contenders I'd say are happy not to lose to each other until it comes to a stage when they need a win.

Both sides look decidedly average, neither side look like serious contenders. Stop start game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,024 ✭✭✭JokerD

    Yes I really do.

This is a Chelsea side capable of beating anyone on their day and tonight they've set up a bit more defensively than usual. It won't be the end of the world for Arsenal not to win.

We get Fcuk all points off Chelsea, City and United.
We have to start beating these teams, especially at home.

The Chelsea players didnt kick the ball out when they had a chance, so why should Arsenal have?

Bit late posting it but fair play to Giroud for putting the ball out when Ramires went down. Didn't have to. That's sportsmanship

Was Ramsey, Giroud complained about him doing it.
