    Great play, deserved a goal

Terry is still a brilliant defender.

Torres off for Luiz, because this match was just too exciting.

Over 4.5 goals at 4/1 looks tempting!

Well I really hope you weren't tempted.

This match has been low on goal mouth incidents but I've enjoyed it all the same.

    Good battle.

    Nope, not a believer!

Maybe it's because I've been hoping for the draw.

When are Arsenal going to start winning some games against Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City? Virtually impossible to win a title until then I'm afraid.

Boo at full time at the Emirates after drawing with Chelsea and now joint top going into Christmas... Stay classy Arsenal.

Very poor performance from Arsenal tonight. Only consolation for me is that the longer the game went on the more sure I was that Chelsea were going to pinch it.

    2 points out of 9.
Very poor return and 2 home games too.

Chelsea are so negative, horrible team to watch just horrible. In saying that we were v poor too. Not even a substitute made by Wenger either whats that all about?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

    Disappointing.

There's no such thing as "joint top", Arsenal are second. If I'd paid good money to sit in the rain and watch that pish I'd boo too.

At least the other 3 teams in the top 5 try to play football. What a load of dross.:(

Chelsea probably marginally the better side for 60 minutes but Mourinho seemed to settle for the draw with 30 minutes still to play. Didn't make it much of a match to watch.

Does Wenger know you don't have to leave the same 11 players on the field for the entire duration of the game?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Spineless stuff from Chelsea again. Still think the lack of a decent centre forward will cost Arsenal this season...would have been the difference between 1 and 3 points tonight.

Giroux will get one good chance without a doubt, hope he finishes it.

    Indeed.

its a given fact that Liverpool fans have the most class in England, knowledgeable and fair, just ask Cardiff, Barca.
Chelsea were the better team tonight, Giroud missed two good chances. Chelsea's Willian should have been off, but overall Chelsea dominated the game. Was Wenger afraid to make a change? Carzola should have got a run and possibly Bentner seeing as he is scoring goals

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

Congratulations to Liverpool for being Christmas number one.

Yeah, we got the X factor :)

He is called Luis Suarez, if Wenger had made a proper offer, you could nearly have had the league wrapped up by now ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,420 ✭✭✭✭rob316

Evidently both teams missing a decent striker. Compare that to Liverpool, man united and city who have atleast 2 top class strikers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,552 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Know it's been said before but really is a crying shame to not see Mata involved more. As a Liverpool fan I hope Mourinho leaves him on the bench for the entire season.

When the post match comments by neville and Jamie arguing and discussing over whether makel should have seen read is more entertaining the the match itself then you know the match was proper ****

Arsenal didn't have a shot on target until the 85th minute.
And this was a home game.
    Dire.

That was grim viewing. Liverpool seem to be our main challengers for the title now. The game on boxing day at our place will be a massive indicator as to where the title may end up.

Hard to look past City for the title.

For a player that cost 40-odd million, I'd expect him to have a bit of influence on the game.

Watching Neville and Carragher constantly poke fun at each other is great viewing. It's constant point scoring. :P
