Norton Ghost

Have a problem with the above stubborn program.

This is a weird one, pulling my hair out to sort it out.

Had installed norton ghost ages ago (came free with an ssd) and never used it.

So was having a clean up of my computer.

Tried uninstalling norton ghost via windows but it kept cancelling.

So I go to use the norton removal tool, this is where it gets weird:

Google anything related to "Norton", chrome crashes.

    Same results with Internet explorer.

I'm using a macbook pro so booted back into mac os and downloaded the removal tool.

Boot back into windows, run the removal tool, keep looping when extracting.

So so far..its impossible to remove norton ghost.

    Do I have a virus?

I use microsoft internet essentials and it has not spotted anything.

I've also tried safe mode but same results

    Computer details are:

    Macbook pro 2010
    Windows 7 pro

    many thanks Damo
