I enjoyed how they dissed that stupid dragon episode as well.

I really liked that episode too. I was beginning to loose faith a little bit

Such a fun episode the montage of him using the device was so spot on right down to the music

The Vat of Acid was decent but thought last night's one was fairly bad again.

I thought it was the best episode in ages Jerry was great Beth and Rick bonding over the clay kids :D

Morty and Summer scenes were disturbingly good if I die don't eat my ass that'd be weird. Summer has had some great scenes this season

That was a really strong finale for my own viewing. Lots of fans keeping an eager eye open for the return of Evil Morty, but the show blindsides us with a solid continuation of the Beth clone storyline.

That final montage was up there with Season 2's finale and 'Hurt'. When you build a character up to be such an uncaring asshole, those moments of self-reflection peppered with depression have so much more of a pay-off.

Great twist, Rick choosing not to look at who is the clone, total dick move. He gets completely emasculated in this episode. Summer and Jerry standouts of the last five episodes.

Best episode of the season along with the premiere. That was real Rick and Morty.

Loved that last episode! Uneven series but some cracking episodes still

So kind've new to this show. Just finished watching the first 3 seasons. Absolutely love it though. Haven't' enjoyed a show like this since Futurama.
One thing that fascinates me now is Evil Morty. Been reading some of the fan theories about how he could be the original Morty or Morty from the future. It could explain why current Morty seems to be changing a bit. Rick's influence is corrupting his innocence and he's becoming colder over time. Perhaps Rick is making the same mistake he made with Evil Morty.

The cleverist TV show on at the moment.
    Absolutely fantastic.
Love every minute of it. From Mr Meeseeks to PickleRick. FFS..... class. 10/10

Thanks for the recommendation. Decent enough. Loved the overarching plot line of the ant/human farm.

Yeah, for me it was very like Rick and Morty, very close to turning it off in the beginning and then loving it.

You need to be living in the US to view it. Just tested it with a VPN

Show up on normal home screen on youtube for me this morning and I'm not using any VPN or living outside Ireland.

Meh, 1080p appeared in my RSS feed a minute ago anyway.

Anyone got any early reviews? I got a bad feeling from the trailer that they were going through the motions but obviously you cant judge from that.

Thought it was a solid episode. A good plot, decent sub plot and lots of sly jokes and callbacks

Got a good laugh out of the first episode, seemed to be pretty chaotic, ridiculous and randomly hilarious at times.

It reminded me of the Snake episode in the last season, which is one of my all-time favourites.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,370 ✭✭✭✭GreeBo

I liked it, the time portal was cool, classic R&M IMO, Nimbus was bizarre, but again worked for me.

    +1 on the Snake episode.

Classic R&M episode. Good solid start to the season.

Nimbus gyrating with hips had my wife in stitches.

For ages I would see the odd 'Rick and Morty' episode on tele, usually after coming in from the boozer, and not have a bloody clue what to make of it. But I recently watched all the episodes from the beginning and I now think it's one of the best animated shows I've ever seen.

There are more ideas going on in a single episode than most of modern TV shows combined and the latest was no exception.

    Great stuff.

Tried not to expect too much but that was genuinely an excellent first episode. So many laughs.

Only just realised the second half of season 4 is on Netflix!!!!

Jerry with a job interview :D

    Yeah that sounds real :p:p:p

It had its moments, but a surprisingly weak episode overall. Still can't fault how much detail they're putting in so far this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,566 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

    Nice use of Queen.

Was expecting the ones dressed as puppets to be operated by someone before they revealed themselves as real.

A decent episode overall. Summer just keeps showing herself to be the best character in the show, she's just consistently great, throws out some of the best lines out of nowhere.

Incredibly underrated show. There is one episode in season 2 in particular that is up there with some of the really deep R&M episodes

Season 5 of R&M has been good so far especially Hoovy. Was a bit worried after some duds last season
