    Macroom Dublin took how long?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,520 ✭✭✭Alek

It was a special case, I was cycling from Dublin to Cork with my wife and 8 month son in a trailer, so it took us about a week :-) (roughly 55k / day). Then I had a short round trip to Macroom with a friend.

Print screen, paste into windows paint and crop to size, upload to here. That's how I'd do it but there may be a better way

Reminds me I've forgotten my Garmin on more than one occasion (or forgotten to charge it.)

Mainly in Ireland but also took the bike to Sardinia, Singapore and Turkey.

Did mine through Strava/Heatmap, you can see some races there, Ras an Clar, Wexford 2 Day, some sportives: Mt Leinster Challenge, SKT160 & Rebel Tour. Hopefully I can do it all again in 2014:

    Merrrrry Christmas to all :)

The best thing I ever downloaded from the internetz in the last 20 years has to be the following tool. http://getgreenshot.org/

Replaces the functionality of the print screen button.

Only one I ever found that you could take shots of the mouse and drop down menus. There are probably others now but I have never looked elsewhere since I discovered greenshot.

It is fairly fancy these days but I recommend turning off "Capture Mouse pointer", "Play Camera sound" and "Show Magnifier"

Just over 12k(maybe 600km off road on mtb). 8k less than one of the lads I was out with today, and that's 5k less than what he did one year!

Shouldn't need it on a Mac (see below), I'm sure there must be similar short-cuts on latest Windows. Cmd+Shift+4 is very handy to know.

Command+Shift+3: takes a screenshot of the full screen (or screens if multiple monitors), and save it as a file to the desktop
Command+Shift+4: brings up a selection box so you can specify an area to take a screenshot of, then save it as a file to the desktop
Command+Shift+4, then spacebar, then click a window: takes a screenshot of a window only and saves it as a file to the desktop

Not a bad year. 2000km and 30000m climbing. TDF Etape thrown in. Somehow managed to have 4 of the 5 big days out washouts! Hope 2015 is a bit sunnier!
