Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

PYP returns with yet another random poll for you to mull over. This edition pits some of the most memorable (or maybe forgettable) talk shows of all time against each other. Happy Christmas everyone.... and Pick Your Poison!

    Piper's Pit

Remembered for one of the more realistic incidents of them all, Rowdy Roddy Piper's Pit is one of the trail blazers when it comes to chat shows. Who could forget the coconut smashing over the cranium of Superfly Jimmy Snuka.

    The Barbershop

Hosted by Brutus Beefcake, this segment is one that is best remembered for the break up of the Rockers. When Shawn Michaels put his long time partner Marty Jannetty through the Barbershop window, everyone and his dog was shocked.

    The Cutting Edge

This was hosted by Hall of Famer Edge and was always a riot to watch, sometimes almost literally. He would invite guests onto his show and either berate them directly or pit them against each other. The show rarely ended without physicality.

    The Heartbreak Hotel

After Shawn Michaels went solo, his arrogance levels went up ten fold. Not content with being IC champion, he needed even more spotlight on him. The tacky set perfectly summed up the Boy Toy in the earlier stage of his career.

    The Highlight Reel

Chris Jericho is a very charismatic person and one of the best Mic workers of his time, so he is a natural person to host his very own talk show. He's had everyone from WWE legends like Steve Austin to the beautiful Divas like Trish Stratus on his show. Who can forget the amazing Jeritron 6000 either?

    King's Court

It's not easy to be King. Lawler interviewed WWE wrestlers and Hollywood celebrities and would get frequent beat downs from his guests. He would often berate the entire Hart family on the show. Lawler even had a legendary spat with William Shatner aka Captain Kirk which resulted in Shatner monkey flipping the King on the set. Shatner would later induct Lawler into the Hall of Fame

only noticing this now. Barber Shop for me, some great angles went down, most ironically Janetty jumping through the window because he was so scared of Michaels

Better was the Bobby Heenan commentary at the time "Jannetty tried to jump through the window to escape!"
