I thought the lull had reached it but clearly it hadn't, was just a brief pause.

The lights in my house in Waterford just flickered, the wind sounds like it's really building up.

Winds easing here in North Dublin, just had a quick look out in the garden for any loose debris and to make sure the trampoline is secure before the next surge.

The Aer Lingus and Ryanair due into cork didn't even bother making an approach or hold, both diverted straight to Shannon.

Been very gusty for a while now in Dublin 5 at the coast. Cars covered in leaves and various debris.

There is somewhat of a lull here in the Tipp - Limerick border at the moment, still windy but the gusts seem to have died down for now.

    i know, now i'm scared.

Wouldn't want to be in the caravan in Youghal.

    Be scared.

This is ridiculous, it's only am arm or a front and we're getting this? And ye're Northside, I've stupid readings from my weather station and I'm in the sheltered south.

South Wexford. Heavy rain and strong winds. Lights have flickered a number of times.

So mild here, I don't like it. Unless I manage to somehow circle this storm. Or the storm circles me. Anyway, not a loss here, as peaceful and quiet as a kitten right now.

Cork Airport is on an elevation, would this make it more gusty compared to Dublin or Shannon?

Fault in Belview outside Waterford, guess that's related to the lights dimming.

Have been watching this progress for the last couple of hours. I'm really surprised at how quick the temperature has risen. In 3 hours temperatures have risen by 6.5 degree.
I have a new weather station and the highest gust recorded on my weather station was 97.5km, Could this be right? I'm in Laois
