few tiles came off now and tree down on the road, west limerick. can't imagine what a hurricane of 200-250km/h would be like here.

its only mild out there with 100km/h winds and house is creaking badly.

Frankly scary winds in Kinsale now. Still without power. Hopefully no fatalities due to this storm come morning time. Stay safe and goodnight.

Sounds more like they were reconnecting somewhere else and had to temporarily switch you off.

    It is perfectly accurate.

Shows absolute pressure 130m ASL. :p
130m = 8.4hPa, so that would suggest a mean sea level pressure reading of 939hPa in Roscommon? I doubt if that's right. Seems too low when you look at the Met Eireann readings.

Apologies if I'm wrong on this, but...

Extremely busy on website tonight so some issues that required a refresh. Still not too happy with my host so will be getting onto them after the Xmas holidays.

After a brief lull winds have picked up again to 35km/h average 75km/h gusts. The next stage begins.

If you need hosting asap to tie you over until your own host gets back, send me a PM. No charge of course.

Gusty here in Tramore, maybe its just a well built house but not noticing it much!

Hitting Galway now big time with driving rain, as bad as earlier in the week. Tightly sealed windows whistling.
