Where to buy a HDD for Xbox 360 S 4GB

    I need to buy a hard disk asap, the kids have XBOX 360 Slim 4GB and got new games for christmas, none of which will play without a HD. Can you recomment somewhere please.

    If you need one in a hurry, gamestop, hmv, xtravision.
    otherwise amazon or adverts would be cheaper but you'll have to wait.

    USB memory stick will do the job as a temporary measure if you have one handy and its over 8gb I'd say.

    I've tried with a 8GB memory stick but the games all say it needs to be installed to HDD

    Did you format the usb key on the xbox?

    Go to settings on the far right of the home screens / system / storage / and you should see the USB key listed there select and format it.
