Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He's an awful player. Always has been. Spends more time moaning to team mates and referees than trying to play football.

You joking? I thought Welbeck had a great half in general, turning up all over the pitch, winning and distributing well, driving at the defence and winning frees. He also assisted Rooney's goal, so your statement is wrong.

Hmm starting task manager has fixed Win8

Smalling is a shocking passer of the ball. Always ballooning Hollywood balls out of play. Himself and Evans are uninspiring at best. Just as well Rooney's been so good this season, or we'd be in serious trouble.

Youngs been worse, push Rooney further up top, Welbeck left, put Kagawa in the centre

Done well to be back level,a Xmas cracker from Rooney. After that they haven't played too badly.

Started moving ball around fairly lively,Hull are working very hard to close down Utd,surely they cant keep that up.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,416 ✭✭✭Zico

Utd were bogging the ball from the half way line(playing balls into the channel) again just before Hull scored. This is a tactic from Moyes and I don't like it.

I think Clev has looked decent enough today, and shown improvement in general over the past few games. He had a decent shot on target midway through the half, and recovered possession at least once. He's not an all-action player, but tends to do the little things right. He needs to get some confidence, and I'm happy to have him in the team as long as he looks like he's improving.

Good to see Fletch back too. He's playing the Carrick role, and seems to be doing a decent job so far.

Jonny Evans, reminds me of Brown in some ways. Not as forceful but can play so well one day or even during a match and then make a big cock up out of nowhere.

I wonder will Hull change to 4-4-2, I hope they don't they're here for the taking if we can get Valencia on the overlap of Adnan and get Young more into it, he's not getting much ball out wide left.

Delighted to see Fletch and Clev doing alright in the middle, nothing amazing but theyre doing okay... want more penetration in our play second half, lets not go out there cold

Welbecks biggest critic but hes played well today, build up play been excellent.

    Very annoyed at this game.

We have been **** defensively and looked really ropey. The worst thing however is the lack of urgency. It took us going 2 down to inject some life into us and then we get it back to 2-2 and the urgency is gone again. We need tempo all match, from the first whistle to last.

    Hull with 2 subs

    McGregor and Meyler off

True. Welbeck has done a very good job so far.

I'm pleasantly surprised with United's ability to control the possession today. Hull are usually strong at that and their formation is set up to achieve it more than ours is.

    as was the first goal

Can't believe how well Hull do at home with players like McShane, Bruce and then playing Figeroa at CB

We should have too much for them

    Rooney to score again :)

The first 10 minutes ended my patience with Moyes.

I think pride forced the players to ignore his tactics after they went 2-0 down because it was the first time all season I saw them play in triangles to create space accurately this season. Maybe I'm wrong and that was just the moment his master plan kicked in but I'll say what I see and it's looking ****e generally.

Carrick and kag Might just come in handy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Having lots of possession but not doing anything with it, and the tempo has dropped drastically

Now is the time to mix it up Moyes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

As good as he is at putting the ball into the net, I can't wait to have RVP back defending set pieces for us.

Man United pretty lucky that Rafael went off injured, because there's no way on earth Moyes would have had the bollocks to make a change like that which has flipped the game otherwise.

I reckon Moyes military like training during the week made that injury actually happen. Genius move by him imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,843 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

I'm sure it has been said.

What doesnt help though is bad refereeing. The ref gave a foul against him at the start of this half on Davies. Was bizarre
