    I haven't seen a boots shop that doesn't.
Their webpage has them, and feck if Mallow stocks them surely Dublin does.

Every boots should have them. And most other pharmacies.

Most pharmacies do Durex and Skyn, the Durex may be more prominent on the shelves.
    Some tesco have them too

Thanks for that, then! Most pharmacies I've been to just have the Durex, must have a look in Boots, which for some reason I never have... Great to know!

What happens if a person is allergic to latex and uses a latex condom? :)

I imagine it would be uncomfortable, irritated and probably itchy?

For me? light swelling and I develop a rash that could last days, and is quite painful down there.

How feckin' stupid do I feel that I only found out there are non-latex condoms off this thread!? This thread might be the greatest Christmas present I'll ever get if they're as good as I'm thinking!!

Bet they're a 'mare to get in pharmacies in Dublin, but I'll definitely be checking everywhere when I'm in town for some of the sales next week.

What is the diff with non latex¿

Tesco has a better selection compared to most places. The even have their own brand which seem to be quite similar if not the same to the more expensive durex.

point is, when you're allergic you don't have a choice, which is normally the only reason someone would want non-latex

Now this thread is relevant to something I have wanted to know.

Ok now this is a GENUINE question.

I have always wondered this. As a female and wanting to be ahem safe....how do you know which condoms to carry ..I mean would not everyman have his size/preference...how do you know which to get?

Trust me, cant go wrong with durex featherlite or ultralite. It'll do 96% of Irish men just fine.

I know in Dundrum it -tends- to be just Durex, but that's just from running in and needing to pick up a pack the odd time. Might have just been unlucky with what was in stock (and didn't know Skyn are non-latex), but I'd go seriously out of my way to get rid of that thick band of borderline blood clotting tightness!!

In fairness if you were *in* the pharmacist already you probably SHOULD have asked first. I think there are laws against that sort of thing!

The problem is that no one would buy them.

But fear not, you can buy them discretely.

I havent read the whole thread so it may have already been mentioned, Condom Power on Dame St has condoms for every shape and size under the sun and helpful staff too.

Its the only place Ive found that caters for the, ahem, wider gentleman ;)

OP: Trojan and Passante are two brands Id recommend

Get his vital statistics from him when you make that first date.

I think one of the reasons shops don't often sell smaller sizes is that it could be seen as encouraging underage sex. Durex tried to sell condoms specifically marketed for younger teens and they got a whole lot of hassle over it.

Or better still, she could go into the chemist and ask have they got any XXL condoms. They'd probably say, "Yes, would you like to buy some?" Then she could say "No, but do you mind if I wait around until someone does buy them?"
