Just wondering, has anyone got exactly who they wanted after 2 picks???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,955 ✭✭✭✭beakerjoe

With mrk, TSC, Brian and Lebowskilite all online now, 4 picks could go by in 30 mintues

Not really, Undertaker was more a response to picking Muta. Though in saying that I can't complain at all about who I have. I've a few people I want but I don't know whether to risk them not being picked in order to get a bigger name this round.

Moneymaker, did you PM the get guy?

Well for the 2nd Year in a row CM Punk has gotten out of reach. I'm happy though to continue the KOW died from last year though.

Greedy old me thought with a lucky Draw I could get Cena Ambrose and Angle in first 3 rounds. First stip hampered it but 1 outta 3 with my third pick to come is still good.

would love to see a few picks made soon, hate seeing it stall

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,955 ✭✭✭✭beakerjoe

Now maybe this is an awful idea that no one would be up for, but how about everyone involved give their mobile numbers to TSC and BH , that way the we can be contacted easily when its our pick and less stalls in the game???

Good idea or Vince Russo idea?

If you think this is a delay wait until the later rounds

CRAP! I really wanted Devitt for the Euro title feud. He was the person I was hinting at earlier.

Sorry lads am in London so was a bit slow posting! So happy I got them! I really wanted Fergal and was a bit surprised he was still left!

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,913 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

So, just before I go....is Devitt eligible? I have a feeling this has come up before and he's passed, but I can't remember if he's appeared in eligible promotions. He did go in Round 1 last year so guessing he's ok.

    Grand, just wanted that confirmed.

Ok, next pick coming up. Former WWE champ, former ECW champion, a Royal Rumble winner and probably one of the great mic men ever. :P

When I got Eddie, thinking of the story I wanted to tell, I wanted HHH and Vince. So thrilled to get both :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,491 ✭✭✭thebostoncrab

After I got Benoit, I made a list of ten guys Id like this round...all ten are still there with 4 picks left ahead of me, so I'm happy!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

    I seriously considered Devitt.

Went for Rhodesdust as it'll give me more flexibility and options down the line.

    Great pick though.

Are you sure? now I wasn't going to pick him myself but I cant find a record of it on the fight database

From what I recall, due to NWA affiliates being allowed, Devitt traditionally qualified due to an association with NWA Ireland.

According to the fight data base that was NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 2 and that TNA stars appeared on the show and not vice versa

It aired under the TNA brand on Spike TV, it has been used almost every year in the draft now

Im a newbie TBC forgive me.

He was in NWA Ireland so that makes him ok anyway.

Hes a great pick, one of the best in the business at the moment

No hassle, it pops up every year so it wouldn't be a draft without mentioning it :)

Hey guys just made my pick and pm'ed the next guy sorry about the delay had an audtion for a play :D and then went to see amercian Hustle afterwards :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 418 ✭✭lebowskilite

Made my pick, on the phone. Fairly certain no one else has picked them but simply because I can't check one more time without it taking half an hour I've suddenly been hit with paranoia. Lemme know sharpish if I've made a mistake there.

I'm v. happy with the picks though. Two names that could light up a card or story, and I'm hoping they do...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,287 ✭✭✭ShagNastii

Pretty sure that's much like the Davitt case. The Perfect/Hall duo have been drafted before and there was no problem.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 418 ✭✭lebowskilite

Thought so. I was very tempted to bag a smaller name who I really want to write for but I think sense caught up with me and I'll take the risk to bag two top guys.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,491 ✭✭✭thebostoncrab

Drat, Hall and Perfect were my second choice, lasted very long! Great great pick sir!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,083 ✭✭✭waltersobchak

Plenty of massive picks still left.. Been bit of a weird one this year so far, guess people are going for picks they want over bigger star picks it seems

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,491 ✭✭✭thebostoncrab

And with that my number 1 and number 3 are still in this, delighted :D

I agree Walter, it's making for a very unpredictable year, will be very interesting to see how it all plays out!

PS The Road Warriors are clearly second best...after Head Cheese :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

I agree there's still a great number of top notch quality available. Makes it quite tricky actually. You feel like a kid in a sweet shop.

There were about ten picks I would have been delighted with this round but very happy to get LOD.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,804 ✭✭✭A Brad Maddox Guy

I'll try and have my pick up asap. Struggling to decide whether to pick someone I'm half relying on for an angle who may slip through the cracks or go for a bigger name.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,491 ✭✭✭thebostoncrab

I'll be staying awake to keep the game moving along then :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,491 ✭✭✭thebostoncrab

Well ****, my number one was a tag team with Davey in it, and Owen was my number three :P

Gonna do some research, will have my pick up shortly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,804 ✭✭✭A Brad Maddox Guy

I'm 90% certain my pick falls within the tag team criteria. I would have double checked but with it being so late I figured I'd just stick it up so as to not hold things up. Will change if I'm wrong

It holds up perfectly, they held the tag titles and were a team long enough to warrant their own wiki article. :)

    Putting my pick up now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,491 ✭✭✭thebostoncrab

    Pick made and PM sent.

Wanted to take him with Davey for a story line, but Davey would have been a bonus, Dynamite was who I wanted more so and I'm delighted to have him. The combo of him-Benoit-McGuinness makes for classic matches no matter how it's booked

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,083 ✭✭✭waltersobchak

Wow TBC... If somehow you could trade to get Daniel Bryan :pac:

We'd have to change the name from Fusion Pro Wrestling to Tough Bastards :P

Some interesting picks, didnt expect to see some of the pics out so early.

I didnt think there would be so many big names left to choose from. Have settled my next pick once Hashtag doesnt steal him

Might also have a partner for my next pick too

Some really diverse rosters. A Brad Maddox Guys roster is one im liking alot.
