Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Just seen an interesting stat on Suarez;

16 goals against the bottom seven teams and 3 goals against the top thirteen teams with two of them against Spurs.

Ya 19 goals before the new year. It's ****en incredible strike rate. Your right.

What was that for? That was definitely a pen by Terry on Suarez or at least should have been. Then the free against Smith for trying to block the ball. Ref is making some strange decisions.

That should have been a penalty against Terry

Probably but refs always seem very reluctant to give those.

Peno for sure, Terry got away with it

Chelsea should have had one in the first half. These things balance out.

Chelsea have taken the foot off the gas and Liverpool are going for it. This is getting hideously ugly now for Chelsea.

Bit better in general but Johnson has been so so poor...

Sterling playing pretty well but seriously, what does Johnson have on his mind today? It ain't this match anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,694 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

Good lord what is your gameplan Glen?
Even Smith has had more useful touches

So how was that a free there and the Terry one not? There was less contact, difference, ref does not want to give a pen.

    Chelsea sitting deeper and deeper.

If Liverpool qualify for Europe this year they'll need blinders of transfer windows in January and the Summer to be able to cope with the extra games Europe brings.

A nice dilemma all things considered though.

All goals count. No striker scores more against the better sides. Especially away from home.

There's only one purpose of posting that stat in here, and FWIW, the stat is wrong anyway.

Three £7million signings available for selection today, 2 on the bench and another in the stand

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,399 ✭✭✭✭Thanx 4 The Fish

Need a goal here, no use pushing and huffing and puffing with nothing to show for it.

Im not using it as a stick to beat him, it was an interesting stat all the same though, no need for anyone to get into a heap and defensive about it.

Not at all. I actually pointed out that he had actually scored 19 goals (read the post again; 16+3=19). All I was saying was that the bulk of those goals have been scored against the so-called weaker sides in the division, which is unquestionably correct (again, read the post). As for my admittedly petty grammar point; well, I apologise for THAT.
