Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's only one purpose of posting that stat in here, and FWIW, the stat is wrong anyway.

    Is it wrong?

Havent looked into it so took it at face value, obviously you have? How come he has it wrong? Whats the accurate stat?

While also illustrating that he is fantastic at putting the weakest to the sword and not as effective against the better to great

He has scored goals v Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal for LFC.

People that make this argument have about as much credibility as Jamie Redknapp. The same thing was said about Ronaldo for years

Jesus H Christ Hendo, do something with it there, at least get a shot away, failing that, pass it to the leagues top scorer.

Lucas Leiva is absolute garbage lads, a good character no doubt but not a chance in hell such a limited player should have such a key role

Suarez will score now won't he? After all this

Im not using it as a stick to beat him, it was an interesting stat all the same though, no need for anyone to get into a heap and defensive about it.

I suppose when you have read it for the 40th million time on here it gets enough.

Yep, I remember it well, course Ronaldo scored against everybody, just like Rooney and other top strikers, Suarez is playing some fantastic stuff too

Not at all. I actually pointed out that he had actually scored 19 goals (read the post again; 16+3=19). All I was saying was that the bulk of those goals have been scored against the so-called weaker sides in the division, which is unquestionably correct (again, read the post). As for my admittedly petty grammar point; well, I apologise for THAT.

Arent pretty much all Strikers goal distributions going to look like that though?

Strikers score more goals against Norwich than Man Utd shocker.

I don't think so, he has been largely anonymous tbh. Would sicken my **** if he was the first guy to get to 20goals before the new year anyway so Ill be happy if he doesn't :)

Luiz is doing a very good job on him

Think you can see now why coutinho didn't make it in Italy gives the ball away constantly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,424 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

It's always going be easier to score more against weaker teams.

    Obvious.

I haven't looked in to it at all, but the fact that it adds up to 20 teams implies that Suarez was also trying to score against his own team, so from the off, it's quite obvious the stat isn't correct.

Chelsea are there for the taking. Losing lamps and Ivano they seem alot flater. We just dont have enough guile in midfield take advantage. Our subs that have come on vs city and today have had absolutely zero impact

His career at Liverpool is going along very similar to his career in Italy alright

Plenty of potential, just unsure whether he will actually realise it

Sterling's delivery has been terrible today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

That bloody Eto'o chance is still annoying me, 3-1 and we're well on our way to 3 points

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,797 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

I've defended GlenJo before, but today he has truly been appalling. No pace, no confidence, totally brainless, he has done nothing to help Sterling.

Well he should be off and that chance was off side so at least some justice was done with the save and should have been a pen against him there
