Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've only seen Chelsea twice this season...0-0 draw V Man Utd and 0-0 draw V Arsenal...2 of the worst games I've seen for ages so I'm not expecting much tbh. Could be a snorefest but since they're at home maybe they might try to actually play some football today. Whatever happens there won't be many goals anyway.

We usually score and always concede so I'm going with 1-1.

I dont get why people are saying Liverpool will be tired but Chelsea wont be? Liverpool played Saturday morning and Thursday evening, Chelsea played Monday night and Thursday day time, if anyone should be, surely it would be Chelsea, who have played 7 more games this season.

Atm, Liverpool have a senior fit squad of 16 to choose from. That is a small bit less than chelseas c.30.

People said City held Suarez last Thursday, yet he created the three best chances Liverpool had, the goal that was wrongly disallowed, the goal that stood and the Countiho chance that Hart saved. Cannot see Chelsea holding Luis :)
Other than baiting him as he was getting a bit edgy at the end of the city game
Also no doubt that Mourinho and the Chelsea lads, especially Terry will be in the refs ear about Skertl at corners.
Should be an interesting game, will be disappointed if we don't come away with the three points. Come on you Redmen.

Had an awful feeling that the game will get ruined by an early red.

Howard Webb needs to be at the top of his game today cause this one aint gonna lack in the passion stakes.

still confident Liverpool will get a result here today.

Hate nonsense like this. They beat United and suddenly United are a bad team. They hammer Spurs and suddenly Spurs are a bad team. No doubt if they beat Chelsea on Sunday it would make Chelsea a bad team and so on, so on, etc.

To be fair, it wasn't Liverpool beating them that made people realise Spurs are a bad team, they've been muck all season.

I'd be a bit worried about fatigue from a Liverpool perspective. City were very flat today after the midweek game and were fortunate to beat Palace to be honest. And they could afford to rotate their team. Liverpool will probably have the same side out tomorrow. Albeit they have an extra 24 hours.

This is utter nonsense Chelsea also played on at Stephens day plus gave played 8/9 more games than liverpool this season

Ignore Kerri. Build up is everything. Stream on the way.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    Does Luiz play DM much?

Nope. But when he does, I love it.
His range of passing is amazing.

If I was a Pool fan I'd be hoping it was Agger at LB.

    Does Luiz play DM much?

No, and iirc Mourinho actually had a subtle dig at Benitez for playing him there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

16 year old Jordan Rossiter on the bench for Liverpool.

I could see us playing 4-3-3 with Luiz Lamps Oscar.

Not convinced with Eto'o he missed 2 simple chances against Swnasea.

So I won €54 on a €10 bet on Stephens day on a footie accumulator.

Just stuck €10 on Liverpool to win 3-1 (:pac:) @ 25/1 . Sure why not.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,887 ✭✭✭✭klose

    Hopefully its agger at lb.

Can't see Chelsea conceding 3 tbh. Hope you're right tho.

I tell you what is weird, Brad Smith being on the bench - he's a left back and so is Cissokho. He did play as a right wing against Spurs in the U21s (and was damned exciting at it) so maybe if he were used it would be as a winger. Hard to imagine him playing at all of course.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,564 ✭✭✭✭OwaynOTT

Hard to know. Sakho left back maybe??

Agger cb if it's a 2 in there, just to handle Torres. :)

Tbh I've no faith in either of those two playing left back.
    Where has Kelly gone? Injured?

Will Jose go for it today or will he park the bus like he did against United and Arsenal? Since it's in Stamford bridge you would have to expect him to play a more open game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

Mourinho really needs to get over that Garcia goal. Jesus Christ.

You have to win your home games, we have to go for it.

I presume he's getting Agger in for Cissokho to be better in the air.

That might make sense if Agger wasn't a pansy.

Can see nothing other than a comfortable win for Chelsea here and Liverpool will continue their slide down the table.

    4-0 Chelsea.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Chelsea have only played 1 of the top 8 at home, City, and have beat them.

Where are people getting Mourinho will go for a draw idea from?

Chelsea have only won 2 of their last 13 league games against Liverpool. Surprising stat. Touch wood it stays at 2.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

If Luiz can hide a chainsaw in his afro we might have a chance of stopping Suarez, even at that, I'm not to sure, I'd rather Suarez with one leg over any of our strikers. :pac:

Hoddle obviously has not watched johnson much going by that piece there on him
