securing loan on uk property whilst living in Ireland

    Hi,

    I've been living in Ireland for the last 13 years but am originally from the UK. I own two properties in the UK, I have a mortgage on 1 property and own the other outright.
    I'm in a bit of a bind and need to apply for a loan in Ireland for approx 15k, secured on the property I own outright in the uk. Please can someone advise me on whom I am best of calling? A financial adviser or do BOI/AIB give loans on overseas properties? thanks a mil
