Optimum PS4 Network Connection

    Hi,

    So I'm trying to set up my PS4 to my wirelless eircom connection, I have it set up to auto, but it is performing far slower than all of my other devices on my network.

    I've been told that if I manually configure it, it should perform better, but I am clueless when it comes to networking.

    I need to know:
    PPPoE User ID
    PPPoE Password
    IP Address Settings (either Auto, Manuel or PPPoE)
    DHCP Host Name (either Do Not Use or Use)
    DNS Settings (Auto or Manual)
    MTU Settings (Auto or Manual)
    Proxy Server (Do Not Use or Use)

    On PS4 go to settings, network, set up internet connection.

    Use wi-fi or LAN as applicable.
    Select easy, select your router and input your password.
    All other settings are either auto or do not use.
    You do not need to manually input anything apart from your password.
