I got a limited vinyl release of the Iron Man soundtrack by Ramin Djawadi, who also does the score for Game Of Thrones and The Strain amongst others.

As an added bonus, it includes this: :)

Great band. The Take Off And Landing Of Everything from last year is probably one of my favourite albums. Definitely my own most listened to of 2014!

Really? I found it incredibly bland & boring. Couldn't get into it at all. Very disappointed as I loved The Seldom Seen Kid.

I very rarely find anything from Elbow to be bland or boring. I find there is so much depth in the songs. The imagery in the lyrics are, to me, incredible. The way simple things are described, listen to how a simple act of smoking is described on Fly Boy Blue/Lunette on that album. Brilliant. Also the last verse on This Blue World. Very moving. But anyhow, that's just me. Maybe I'm easily impressed!! :o

Bought Björk's Vulnicura album today. Have been waiting for the physical release before listening to it, most of the reviews have been positive so looking forward to it. I don't expect an easy listen though.

Wow, some seriously nice stuff there, especially the Miles & Nico. Picked up Beck's Morning Phase on vinyl last week myself. Lovely pressing, sounds dead quiet. Wonderfully atmospheric album, way better than Beyoncé! :D

Came across a copy of When The Stillness Comes by Slayer (7" pic disc released for RSD 2015) in Golden Discs in Swords of all places. Had to grab that, especially at a tenner!

The Magic Whip, €16 on Vinyl when you include the 20% off offer.

It's going to be an album that needs a few loud listens but I like it so far.
